SharePoint Migration: Key member on the architecture team for a SharePoint migration. Identified the
tool to be used for migration; worked with the vendors to acquire a demo of the product and purchased
the tool. Built out the development farm to test the migration process, created / owned the project plan.
Created the plan and detailed SharePoint communications sent to end-users in a variety of platforms.
Upgraded 1,600 site collections from 2003 to 2007 using DocAve. Worked closely with AvePoint engineers
to tweak and develop additional DocAve tools to resolve all issues encountered during the migration.
Saved the company more than $200K by using DocAve to perform the migration and not utilize outside
consulting services. Created SharePoint best practices for usage, site design, and documentation, as well
as led training sessions.
Digital Signage – Design and Development of Strategies and Best Practices: New York offices
relocated and installed multiple LCD panels using Cisco’s Digital Media Players (DMPs) on each floor for
displaying digital signage. Simplified the creation and publishing procedure, reducing time from 90
minutes to 15 minutes, and took ownership of training, managing, supporting, and installing DMPs.
