EDUCATIONAL TOUR – TO HYDERABAD (2024-25)
GENERAL GUIDELINES
CLASSES-IX, X, XI and XII
Date of departure : 29-Sept-2024
(Nagapattinam to Chennai)
 Boarding point : Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Nagapattinam
 Time of departure : 4:00 AM
 3 Buses are available from the school.
 Students are requested to bring breakfast and lunch for the day.
(Chennai to Hyderabad)
 Departure : at 4:00 PM (Hyderabad Superfast Express)
 It is recommended that students purchase dinner from train’s
food service during the trip.
 Reaches Hyderabad around 5:30 AM.
 (Wear neat and formal dress for the bus and train journey.)

Students are requested to bring the following;


1. One set of uniform (Grey)
2. School ID card is mandatory.
3. Pack essential items,
 Clothing-three set of colour dress for outing (neat and formal)
 Toiletries (as per requirement)
 Medications (Personal medicines if any)
 Water bottle
 Pocket money (Personal responsibility)
 Healthy Snacks can be brought if needed.
“It is recommended to pack light for the tour”.

Instructions to be followed;
1. Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets are not allowed for the tour.
2. Leave jewelry or other valuable items at home. School cannot be responsible for items that are lost, damaged, or
stolen during the trip.
3. Follow staff directions at all times. Students are expected to be respectful to staff and peers.
4. Stay with your assigned groups and follow the tour schedule
5. Keep emergency contact number handy.
6. Students are strictly instructed to maintain discipline throughout the train journey and follow the instructions of
the teacher incharge.

Guidelines for Parents;


1. Student’s mentor number will be provided. (Parents can contact them for updates)
2. All information will be updated in the group.
3. Assigned time will be updated in the groups to make calls. (Students are allowed to make calls to
their parents with their mentor’s phone).
4. Kindly avoid making calls in between the journey.

Reaches Thiruvarur around 4:45 PM on 3rd October 2024
Arrival at School by bus around 6:30 PM
