    NUTRITION MONTH
    ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

    Situational Context/Tasks at Hand

    ‘’ Health is wealth ‘’ a very famous saying that has a huge impact in


    human life. July was set to celebrate Nutrition month in our country. It was done
    annually by the last week of the month . It is also the time to educate
    people in the importance of
    of proper nutrition for overall health and well- being. This year’s theme ‘’ Sa PPAN
    Sama – sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para Sa Lahat. PPAN means Philippine Plan of
    Action for Nutrition. It is an ambitious plan that targets particularly ending
    hunger and eliminating all forms of malnutrition. PPAN also aims to improve
    nutrition across all life stages through strategies such as improving
    consumption of healthier diets, adoption of positive nutrition practices
    increase access to quality nutrition services and enabling mechanism.

    Action/s Taken

    Last August 2, 2024, we conducted our Nutrition Month Culmination Program .


    The program started at 9:00 A.M. It begins with a prayer. In the program our
    guest Madam Shimlie R. Climaco and so with our Principal Sir Gerry C. Faustino
    gave an insight about nutrition. Our Administrative Officer Madam Gloria Delos
    Reyes gave her health talk. The pupils listened to her and interacted with her
    attentively. Moreover, there were lots of contest done during that time , there
    was slogan making , poster making, biggest fruit ,smallest fruit, biggest
    vegetable , smallest vegetable. There were also cooking contest like arroz
    caldo for kinder to grade 3 and binignit for grades 4 - 6 respectively.
    Announcement of winners was done last Monday August 5, 2024
    after the Flag Ceremony.
    Engaging in this kind of activities is very important for all of us
    especially to the parents because it one way of encouraging them to give
    importance on proper nutrition.

    What Went Wrong
    What Went Well

    Pupils as well as their parents agreed Not all the parents were there during
    that they will bring vegetables and the activity. There were only 10 out
    fruits for the display. Parents also of 27 parents.
    agreed that they will bring all the
    necessary ingredients for the arroz
    caldo . I also assigned them the
    different kitchen utensils to be
    during the cooking. Then pupils were
    able to bring variety of fruits and
    vegetables, and we were able to
    display it in our display area. Some
    parents bring the ingredients for arroz
    caldo and the kitchen utensils. They
    were able to cook the most delicious
    arroz caldo for Grade 3 RUBY.

    Conclusion (Agreement of Commitment)

    Children and parents enjoy a lot during the celebration despite of all
    the hindrances. It was evident as we can see in their faces. And so, with the
    teachers.
