2 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
3 COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS
Eyes: Foreign materials in the eye may not cause a toxic reaction, but injury from a foreign body may occur. In such
cases, the patient should be observed for eye irritation and should seek medical assistance if irritation becomes
significant
Inhalation: Not expected to be an irritant. Seek medical attention if necessary.
Skin: May not represent a toxic or irritation hazard in small quantities, but may produce adverse effects if applied in
large quantities or if used over a significant period. Foreign materials should be removed from the skin with
simple washing. Should skin irritation or erythema occur, a patient may wish to seek medical assistance.
Ingestion: Small amounts are not anticipated to be harmful. Even though a substance may be considered non-toxic, it should
not be considered as non-toxic in any amounts. Even ingestions of various foodstuffs can cause adverse symptoms
if large amounts are eaten. Treat the patient not the poison, especially when the diagnosis is unknown. If there is
a question of simultaneous ingestion of a product, which may be more dangerous, the management of the more
toxic agent should be consulted. Do Not Induce Vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person. Seek medical attention if necessary.
5 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable (and unsuitable) May be combustible at high temperature. Use appropriate media (foam, dry chemicals, or

Special protective equipment & Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing, including eye protection
precautions for firefighters: and boots. Sectional extinguishing or by isolation found to be effective.
Flash Points: 320oF / 160oC (Directly ignited).
Specific hazards arising from the No unusual fire incidents known so far. Possibility of a less hazardous explosion may result if
chemical: filled drums are subsequently dropped from a considerable height but may not necessarily
result to fire unless directly ignited. For bulk packaging such as metal lorry tanks, Isotank
and/or Flexitank, direct physical impact may not result to explosion and/or fire unless directly
ignited. See also Stability and reactivity section.
Personal precautions, protective Do not try to clean up the leak without proper protective equipment. See section 8 for
equipment & emergency procedures: recommendations on the use of personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: Avoid liquid release into sewers/public water/environment. Notify environmental
authorities in case of leak.
Methods and material for Use sawdust or any absorbent material to contain spillage. Dispose of absorbed material in
containment and cleaning up: accordance with the regulations.

handling: harm to individuals within the vicinity. Bulk lifting equipment recommended for safe unloading. Use good
personal hygiene practice. See section 8 for recommendations on the use of personal protective equipment.
Conditions for safe Store in a cool dry location in a sealed container. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or sudden
storage, incl. any changes in climate or temperature to prevent induced oxidation to preserve quality. In-house storage
incompatibilities: preferable to ensure preservation of quality. Dispose empty drums properly. Wash oil stains with detergent
when necessary. Store away from incompatible materials (see section 10 for incompatibilities).
TWA: Time Weighted Average over 8 hours of work. STEL: Short Term Exposure Limit during x minutes.
TLV: Threshold Limit Value over 8 hours of work. IDLH: Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health
REL: Recommended Exposure Limit WEEL: Workplace Environmental Exposure Levels
PEL: Permissible Exposure Limit CEIL: Ceiling
Personal Protection:
Eyes: Wear safety glasses.
Inhalation: No special precautions for normal use.
Body: Wear non-slip, oil resistant gloves and full protective clothing.
