cfb = cumulative frequency of the class before the Qk class
f Qk= frequency of the Qkclass
i = size of class interval
k = nth quartile, where n = 1,2, and 3

k = nth decile, where n = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9

B. Activity Proper The class will be divided into 3 groups. Each group will be
assigned a different task to present in the class. You will be
given 10 minutes to do the activity. Allotted time for each
group presentation 5 minutes only.

Group 2: 5th Decile or D5

C. Post Activity After the presentation of every group, let us try to answer

Analysis/Discussion The quartiles divide the distribution into four equal parts.
The deciles are those values that divide the total frequency
into 10 equal parts.
And the percentile is a measure of position that divides a
distribution into 100 equal parts.
