The 6th Line: Role Model

We come to the end of the hexagram process, and there really is an end of
the hexagram process. Whenever I look at hexagram structure, I always look
at it from many different perspectives. I see it as couplets and triplets; I see it
as a 5. But the only time I ever really see it as a 6 is when I teach it. That is, it is
part of the hexagram. It is the top Line.

When looking at that top Line, it is clear to me that in so many respects, it is

as different from every other Line as possible. And the basis of that is
something that perhaps you can intuit from the way in which Color operates.
The phenomenon of Color is that Color is this dynamic binary. Every single
one of these Colors is binary.

The 6th Line Is not a Binary

When you're looking at the way in which the 1st to the 5th Line operates, they
all operate in relationship to that binary. This is a pure relationship. But the
moment that you get to the 6th Line, suddenly something is not quite correct,
because the 6th Line is not a binary. It isn't a binary at all because something
happened to the 6th Line. What happened to the 6th Line happened hundreds
of years ago. That is, it happened in 1781 when we went through the transition
from being a seven centered being, the Hindu Brahmin chakra infrastructure,
to the nine centered Rave vehicle.

The moment that we entered into that Rave vehicle, in essence, every single
aspect that we refer to as 6th Line, that is, the genetic continuity of the
chemistry that makes top Lines, that all of those top Lines are in a deep
mutation in this phase. And what is so interesting about this mutation is that
it is a mutation that is taking place in the illusion.

The BodyGraph

Now, let me step back for a moment. Think about what you see when you're
looking at your design. You look at your design and you see that there's this
BodyGraph. And on either side of that BodyGraph you have a database, your
Personality and Design database. In the original illustrations of the Rave
graph, I had the BodyGraph, and on either side, there were the two wheels.
And in many ways, I often reflect that that is something that is visually very
important to look at. It is something that I think begins the process of really
grasping something about the oddity of what it is to be us.

When you go look to the data itself, you're really looking at two very separate
and different things. And they're not simply separate and different because
we've got a theoretical construct that says that. We have a database that's
keyed to different moments in time, that is, the gap of 88° between the
Design and the Personality in terms of the final calculation.

The Magnetic Monopole

Something to understand is that what we see when we look at Color is that

we are looking at the way in which the Crystal works. In other words, this is

the Color language for the Personality Crystal. It is not the Color language for
the Design Crystal. In other words, beneath the Line, when you're looking at
just the Crystal separate from the totality, you're looking at something that in
itself is unique.

The only thing that pulls the Design and the Personality together in the
BodyGraph configuration is the work of the Magnetic Monopole. And it's the
Magnetic Monopole that pulls together the Design and Personality
information into a quantum. Now that quantum, what we see in the
BodyGraph, this is the illusion field. It's the illusion.

Think about stereo music. If you put your head to one speaker, you hear
something totally different than if you put your head to the other speaker.
But if you put your head in the middle between the speakers, you get
something else, you get this third thing. And it's the third thing that you really
want to listen to. It’s not the aspect on this side or that side other than if
you're doing research.

What you're interested in is the quantum; you're interested in the whole

that's greater than the sum of its parts. You don't get to see the
consequences of harmonies, as an example, the harmony that is coming out
of one speaker, that Line coming out of one speaker and its relationship to
another tone or quality coming out of the other speaker. There's something
magical that takes place when you hear them together.

In essence, this is what the Monopole is doing. It's bringing the frequency of
the Design Crystal and the frequency of the Personality Crystal. Remember
that it’s not like the Crystals are doing anything. The Crystals are filters, and
they're both filtering neutrino information. They're both filtering that
information that goes through it and comes out of it as a frequency. At the
peak of that frequency what emerges from the Crystal is what we call Color.
And it's from this frequency that the Magnetic Monopole, as a mono-pole
only attracting, pulls from those two Color frequencies and pulls it together
into the BodyGraph.

You can see in the basic mechanics of the way in which your BodyGraph is
drawn, that the fact that you have an activation that's unconscious in one
Gate and an activation that is Personality in another Gate and forms a

definition in a Channel, already you get to see the quantum. In other words,
the pulling together of the Design and Personality leads to something
entirely different.

The thing that's so fascinating about the nature of the 6th Line is that it’s not
mutating at the Crystal level. The Crystals are fixed. The mutation itself, the
illusion itself, is where the mutation is taking place. This is where the
phenomenon is happening.

So, this process of what the 6th Line has been going through since 1781 is
without precedent, because it's the end of the game. In a sense, there is no
way to sustain the 6th Line mutation. Everything about what we call 6th Line
mutation, the tripartite life process that we talk about, is about getting us to a
point in which—not us, in essence, this is about the new life cycle of the Rave,
but the Rave isn't human.

The 6th Line Mutation

For me, this interregnum between 1781—when you had the advent of the
vehicle—and 2027 when the beginning of the process of those who incarnate
specifically for this vehicle, rather than incarnating in the interregnum of this
vehicle, this is a totally different thing. This is the preparation because we're
leading up to a 6th Line cycle. And it's in this 6th Line cycle beginning in 2027
where we're going to have this major mutative force at work.

When you look at a cycle and you see that it runs 400 plus years, you can see
that the 6th Line mutative process that begins soon—this is starting in 2027—
we have this huge mutative push. Particularly for the first 60, 70, 80 years
there's going to be this enormous mutative push.

So, everything about the 6th Line is about the development of the mutative
capacity. The thing about mutation is that mutation is so cruel. When we look
at the timeframe from 1781 to 2027, we say that this is history. But to the
earth, it's a couple of breaths that really doesn't mean anything in
evolutionary, geological universal time at all. It's all relative after all.

From a different perspective, this 1781 to 2027 is a thing that is just flying by.
And yet, all of us in our process have to deal with a form principle that we

were not specifically born for. It’s what makes us very special. For me, the
great altruism is what we have done for generations now, since the end of the
18th century, to maintain, develop, work with this vehicle, and survive long
enough so that we can procreate those beings that are intended to incarnate
into this completed version of the vehicle. And it's not ready yet.

The Saturnian Frequency

Think about just the simple things. We lived forever as a civilization in the
Saturnian world where old Cronus ruled everything, and we had a cycle that
was only 29, 30 years. For the vast majority of humanity, for the vast history
that humanity has incarnated, that was pretty much the lifespan. We forget
that the lifespan was very short for most human beings.

We were built on this Saturnian frequency. And this Saturnian frequency has
been operating for thousands of years. In 1781 it changed. Not only did we
have the advent of the nine center being, but this is also the timing for the
discovery of the planet Uranus. This was the beginning of this enormous
evolutionary push. Also recognize that in 1781, Pluto was in the 41st Gate. The
41st Gate is the initiating codon and Pluto will be there again in 2027. We are
living in a grand Plutonian cycle; huge, for that matter.

The Uranian Cycle

This is all a matter of Pluto, and this is a deep transformation that is taking
place. The guiding force of this transformation is determined by the new,
relatively speaking, Uranian influence. And the Uranian influence is a life cycle
that is almost triple the Saturnian cycle, this 84 year cycle of Uranus. All of us
in this age are getting to see the dysfunction and disjointedness of a
generation of human beings that are living into their 80s, 90s, and 100s who
have no purpose, who are lost in a limbo of non-productivity and
deterioration.

We're already seeing the biological advantages of the new cycle, but
psychologically, we're not there at all. That is so clear to me. It’s so clear to me
when I look at my children. When I was a child, you were basically only
allowed to be a child until 16, 17, something like that. By the time you were 17,
18 years old, you were expected to take on the mantle of some kind of an

adulthood in your life. Not only that, but the educational institutions, the
framework of society built during the Cross of Planning all was geared
towards developing talent at a very early age.

I can remember the enormous pressure in high school. As early as 13 or 14

years old, I can remember some counselor coming into the classroom and
writing on the blackboard what your earnings will be if you don't graduate
high school, if you graduate high school, if you get a university degree; there
was this enormous pressure.

When I look out in the world now, anyone who hasn't reached their Uranus
opposition—anyone who hasn't reached that point somewhere between 38
and 44, it depends on your particular unique cycle—to me they're still a child.
And I don't mean to put that out as some kind of pontification because I don't
mean it in that way. I just really mean that they're not mature yet, and that
one cannot expect maturity from them until they get past their half-life point.

When you think of the Saturnian cycle, that was 14 and a half years old. It's
why today we have this huge spectrum of children in developed countries
worldwide who have enormous problems with depression in their teenage
years, because under the conditioning of the Saturnian process, they should
be granted their adulthood, and they want it. And yet they see clearly that
they're not adults. And this process is taking longer and longer. The way in
which we look at human development, both physical and psychological, has
to change in relationship to the new cycle that we live in.

Kiron

The other thing is almost frightening for most human beings because what
the Uranian cycle brings is something more than just Uranus. It brings the
spectrum between Uranus and Saturn. And herein lies the marker, what I
consider to be one of the most profound markers that we have, and that is
the object that we call Kiron. Kiron sits in an orbit between Saturn and
Uranus.

So, with the discovery of Uranus, we opened up a tripartite frame: Saturn,

Chiron, and Uranus. These are the markers, and these are the markers that
we use when we talk about the 6th Line life. We talked about the first Saturn

cycle, the 3rd Line phase, and I'll talk about that in a moment, entering then
into the roof cycle at the Saturn Return, staying on the roof through the
midlife, which is absolutely essential to grasp. And reaching the completion
of that process at the Kiron return either at 50 or 51 years of age, and then and
only then the potential for flowering.

Now think about that. That is really something to grasp. Traditional flowering
has been between 21 and 30. If you didn't have it, then everybody said the
same thing, you didn't have it. If you couldn't show it then, you didn't have it,
and you weren't going to make it. And anything that you were going to
master, or you wanted to master, or you wanted to prove, or whatever the
case may be, that was the framework.

True Flowering Is Post Kiron

People think that there is this love affair that human beings have with youth,
all these clichés about youth is wasted on the young. But this was the
Saturnian pressure carried forward into an age where it did not belong
because it isn't about youth. You cannot call 51 young anymore. This is not
about youth; this is about maturity and of the true flowering, because of the
density and complexity of the life, that the true flowering is post Kiron.

When you look at the Saturnian cycle, anyone getting to their Kiron return is
ready to retire. They're looking towards the end of the mortgage, the white
picket fence, and the vacation home, whatever the case may be. 6th Line
beings carry this mutation. So the 6/2 and the 6/3, and of course along with
the 3/6 and the 4/6, but here we're dealing with Personality, so the 6/2 and
the 6/3 carry this mutation, and they carry this mutation at the passenger
level, which is very different than carrying it physically.

3/6s and 4/6s do not focus from the mental plane on their 6th Line process, in
other words, intellectually. For the understanding of the whole, it is the 6
Personality that is the only Personality that is here to reflect on what is this
new process because they in fact live it out.

Mutative Pressure on 6th Line Beings

The other thing is, it's deadly. And it really is. Sometimes I catch myself
because I don't want to really frightened people, but it is the great law of
mutation that when a mutative force comes into the world, if it doesn't
operate correctly, if the mutation doesn't take hold, then it's destroyed. This is
just the way it works. Mutation has to prove its worthiness, all mutations do.
And whether you take a strictly Darwinian point of view, the survival of the
best equipped, fittest, whatever the case may be, the thing to understand is
that there is enormous life pressure on 6th Line beings.

But more than that, what they are doing, particularly 6th Line Generators—I
could do a whole course for 6th Line Generators, because they are actually
pumping out the new dynamic into the world through their enveloping aura.
They're the ones that are really placing the tripartite life process into the life of
everyone else.

I may be a 5/1, but I've clearly been influenced by this process. I'm not
influenced in the same way because, in fact, I'm only aware of it through
conditioning; that is, being open and taking things in and noticing it. There
was an enormous difference in my life at my Kiron return, an enormous
change in my life. And in fact, real flowering has been a byproduct of that
phase. I'm now in my seventh year away from my Kiron, and it's clear to me
what a transition this has brought in my life.

But all of that is a byproduct of it being in the world. And the success of the
tripartite life process is so much in the hands of the 6s. Will they get beyond
their Motivation? And here is really what the story is. I've been trying to give
you little hints, to see if you could get it, because it's interesting, it's fun. Think
about the Color.

The Observer/Observed

Remember, Innocence, the seamless, underlying foundation of the 6th Line is

a binary of Observer/Observed. These are the ingredients of quantum. If you
talk to a quantum physicist, he or she will frame their dialogue within that
context of Observer and Observed. And what they will say to you is that the
Observer always impacts the Observer, and vice versa. In other words,
something else happens. And that something else is what we call quantum.

6th Line First Phase: Observed

And yet, when we're dealing with the 6th Line being and we talk about the
archetype of the 6th Line process, you go through your first phase. When you
go through your first phase, you are Observed. You're lost in the 3rd Line,
you're in the trial and error, you're in the pessimism of the trial and error, and
the dilemmas that it can bring. It is not a natural state to be in. And you go
through that process being watched, in that sense, simply being lost.

Second Phase: Observer

Then you go up in the roof at the Saturn. When you go up in the roof with the
Saturn, you become the Observer, this lofty position of aloofness. And then
mysteriously you get to the Line, you get to that point where you reach your
Kiron. And throughout the process of Observer/Observed, first phase, second
phase, the Motivation is perfect, it's correct. The underlying thematic of the
Motivation and its fundamental duality is something that is deeply lived out
by the 6th Line being.

But remember, before 1781, the 6th Line being got older, colder, wiser, and
they became the ultimate hypocrites. They would say, “Do as I say, not as I
do,” this is their ultimate. But we no longer have this endless out-the-door
Observer. And the 6th Line is a roof. You can fall.

This is the whole thing about the 6th Line. Because when you get to your
Kiron, it isn't about Motivation anymore. It can't be. It's so interesting. You
can't escape it, the Colors are there, the Motivation is there. And the only way
that you can transcend that, the only way you can become a quantum of that
is that you have to be just like it says: A Role Model. Perfect in what it is to be
you. And then transition can take place.

The Role Model

The Role Model is its own Authority. This is what it's all about. This is why all
the grounding of my teaching is about this surface of Strategy and Authority
because this is ultimately the thing that brings you to that place of the
potential of your purpose. There is nothing else that can do that for you.

When the 6th Line being comes off the roof, every drop of conditioning that
they accept, every action of not-self, that absorbs them and takes them over
and becomes their decision maker, each and every one of those acts is like a
cancer growing in the mind. It is a cancer that can be growing in the vehicle.
It's a killer. Because there is no place for the 6 to be at rest with its Color. It
can't.

The thing that is so fascinating about the 6 is that the most important thing
for a 6th Line being is to be in Transference. Now, I bet you that's a surprise. I
don't mean that they do not align themselves, they will align themselves. But
the thing to grasp about the 6th Line being is that they have a deep
connection to themes of the 3. We see that in the way we talk about their life,
how they live out a 3rd Line theme at the beginning of their life.

And it is the drive, the desire, to lead by their example, and not in the way in
which desire actually works, but in the way in which the innocent bystander
works. If I can even make it more confusing for you, it’s the desire to be an
innocent bystander. And not an innocent bystander in the sense of watching
life go by, but innocent in the sense that one is simply there in one's, what I
like to call, “itness.”

It doesn't matter for the 6 whether it transfers or not. It doesn't make any
difference. If they're operating correctly, the alignment is always correct. But
the transference is always a benefit. It's like they're stopping anyone from
trying to influence their conditioning. They have to be outside the game.

When somebody comes up to me as a 5th Line being and says, “Help me,” this
is what I do. This is my call, this is what it is to be a Heretic, it is what it is to be
a universalizing agent. But when somebody comes up to the 6th Line being
and ask them for help, this is when the 6th Line being smiles, and goes about
its business. And if there is something that that person can learn from the 6th
Line being, they can always watch them, but they can't bring them to this or
that.

The Mystery of the Mind

It is only within the 6th Line being themselves that all actions have to be
totally given over to whatever their Authority is. It is the only way. And

ultimately for the 6th Line being, the mystery is the mind. I mean, for the 6th
Line Personality, the mystery is the mind because they're the ones who have
to know, understand, make sense of the fact that it is not about being
responsible for everyone that makes the world work. That's the 5. They have
to be responsible to their truth, and their integrity, nothing more.

And 6th Line beings, because of their process being deeply involved and
messed up, becoming aloof and distant, that they've played out the spectrum
already when they reach the Kiron. There's no place else to go; you can't keep
going back and forth.

This is a learning arc. It is the end of the process. It is the jumping off place. It's
the point of transition. After all, where does the 6/3 go? It goes to the next 1/3.
It's deeply important that 6th Line beings operate correctly.

The Circuit Theme

Think about just the way that it works. We looked at the 4 and the 5, as Upper
Trigram processes, and saw that they were aligned to the Channel theme.
But then you get to the 6 and you see it's different from everything else. You
have these Lines of Gate themes and these Lines of Channel themes, but
there's only one here that carries this Circuit theme.

When you see your Personality Sun and you're a 6th Line being, look at the
Circuit it's in, because this is what you're looking for. You're not looking for the
other, you're not looking for the conditioning of the other, you're not at all,
you're looking way beyond that. You're looking into the whole domain of it.
You're just looking at it all.

This is what's interesting. The whole Circuit is what's interesting, because you
are the embodiment of the Role Model of perfection. And the perfection can't
be seen in the Channel; you only meet conditioning. You can only see it
through the whole Circuit so that you see everything in its place.

The 33.6

I love this Line, the 33rd Gate, the 6th Line,

this and that, and just be you. This is the example we need. It's the only one
that matters. The cycle that we enter into begins with a 6th Line thematic.
And we're dealing with a Cross that is deeply Individual and is going to put
enormous pressure on us in in terms of developing proper survival strategies.
And there are not going to be any viable heretics in that cycle.

This is the end; I'm singing my last song. This really is the end. It's the end of
masters and messengers, and all of this stuff. It isn't going to ring a bell
anymore, post 2027, when the 6 is there to take us through the process and
to show us more than anything else the reward, because the rewards are
great. Truly, they are great. This tripartite life opens up more potential for
each human being than we've ever known in our history. Not only do we have
so much more time, but we have well-being, education, and all of the
advantages that come with it. And there's an incredible developmental arc to
life that goes far beyond this: do it while you're young and try to make it into
old age. This is a totally different process.

The Role Model Will Show us the Way

The net result of this is to get to a place where we have 6th Line beings who
are operating absolutely correctly, because they're what it's all about. They're
the Role Models. And no matter how many times a 5 can turn your head, to
see a 6 being correct has much more impact. And that's something really
special. It's not about universalization.

You can see how the 4 and 5 are in the same game. The 4 influences its
friends, and the 5 influences strangers, always trying to in engage them
somehow in their particular this or that, always getting them involved. But
the 6 is “I'm here alone, aren't you? We can both be here alone together. But
I'm going to run my process.” And only when we have beings that are
operating that way, that we will have the ones that are going to be the
shining lights in the future. They're the ones who are going to show us the
way. They have to, because if they don't make it, the process does it make it.

So, when we're thinking about the way in which the 6 aligns to its natural
Color, there is a dilemma. By the way, it's not true for the others, in the sense
that everything about the way in which Color influences the 6 is that it's in

balance until you get to your Kiron and then it becomes like any other kind of
conditioning force. And I guess that's the thing that I'm really trying to say.

In other words, as you move through the first and second aspects of the 6th
Line process, the Color Motivation is correct. So for example, if you're dealing
with a 6th Line and they're in the first phase of their life, if they've got a 6th
Color, it is very important for them to be that Observer/Observed. Be right in
it, be motivated to be in it. It is correct for them. And it is going to be a
dilemma for them if they are transferring to the Desire. Wanting to lead in a
3rd Line phase, well, go ahead and watch what happens when it's not natural
for you to operate that way.

The Importance of Strategy and Authority

But the moment that that 6th Line reaches its Kiron, that's the moment that
this whole process is different, because they have to be beyond it. One of the
things I think that you understand throughout this process is that when you
operate correctly according to your Strategy and Authority, you're always
aligning yourself to what is correct. So, it's the only thing that matters. For a
6th Line being, being off the roof, this is something that is absolutely essential
to grasp.

It’s one of my concerns when I deal with people. Because we mature late, the
majority of people who come to Human Design come around their midlife,
somewhere between 35 and 45, or 35 and 50 is more common. It takes a
certain amount of maturity to get to this place, so it seems. When somebody
comes and they're in their late 40s, or they've just had their Kiron return, this
is very difficult. There is an enormous deep conditioning in the vehicle that
needs to be dealt with, and it has to be dealt with by the most rigid
movement to correctness, whatever somebody's Type happens to be.

One of the things for 6th Line beings to understand anyway is that the value of
Strategy and Authority for them is paramount, and it becomes absolute
when they go off the roof. The moment they move away from that, any
incorrectness is going to impact their vehicle and is going to make them
vulnerable. It's just the way it works. And because they are mutative forces,
the moment that incorrectness becomes habitual post Kiron, then they're
going to go out quicker. They just will.

A Classic 6th Line Story

I’ve told that story about polio. It’s a classic 6th Line story. In the 50s, when I
was in public school, there was a polio epidemic. I remember how frightening
it was. I remember kids in my class contracting polio. You have these polio
victims, and they get looked after and their conditions, if they were lucky,
stabilized, and they end up with a bad limb, arm, whatever the case may be.

Then they get into the roof phase, and everything's okay. They don't
deteriorate. They learn how to live with it. They have a different state in their
process. And then they get to their Kiron. What we have now amongst 50
year olds is an epidemic of post-polio syndrome; suddenly it's back. This is one
of the things that really is an example, not necessarily pleasant a one, but an
example of the vulnerability that is there for the 6th Line being.

I often describe how when you come off the roof you meet all the things that,
in essence, challenged you when you were in your Saturnian phase. And I
don't mean you meet the same people or exactly the same circumstances,
but you meet the same kinds of frequencies. Frequencies that were deeply
difficult for you to deal with in the Saturnian cycle are frequencies that return
to you in your process. If you're correct, it's no problem. As a matter of fact,
you might not even notice. But if you're incorrect, it's like a bad dream
coming back to haunt you.

The 6th Color Motivation: Innocence

So, let's move into some Color here. When we're dealing with a 6th Color,
obviously, we're dealing with something in which whenever we're looking at
any of the Colors in relationship to the 6th Line, we have to see that we have
two different ways we look at them. In other words, when we're looking at the
first two stages in the life, then the kind of tools we've been talking about
where you give the passenger a way of seeing how others impact them. For
the 6th Line being that's here to be Role Model, how important it is to realize
that they cannot afford to be conditioned against their nature. This is
something that is essential to grasp.

Again, there is the absolute importance of the techniques to protect them,

the Strategy to protect them. But in terms of the development of the
awareness, they don't need to be driven in that part of their life, the first two
aspects of their 6th Line process. The innocent bystander for them is
something that is very important, whether that is the innocent Observer, or
the innocent Observed. You don't go into the 3rd Line phase of your life with
an agenda because you're going to get smacked in the face if you're a 6th Line
being who's intended to be moved by the 6th Color.

Motivation Changes at the Kiron Phase

But the moment that this being reaches their Kiron phase, that's the
moment it doesn't matter what the Motivation is, it only matters that they're
correct. So, it's not going to matter what the other brings, it's only going to
matter that they're correct.

One of the things about correctness is that by the time you reach your Kiron,
if you've been in the process, for example, seven years, you will have already
remade your social environment. It just happens. You don't have to do
anything, it's just a natural byproduct of coming to who you are and making
decisions based on yourself. It changes the trajectory, or the way in which
forces move in and out of your life.

But the moment the 6th Line being enters into that Kironian phase, it is not
about the Transference, it is about their absolute correctness, because they're
not here to be motivated this way or that way. They're here to be motivated,
but not this way or that way. In essence, they take them both and quantify
them in a new field.

I don't know what the Motivation of the Leader/Follower, Observer/Observed

means when it gets into that state. First of all, I’m not a 6th Line being. But the
thing that's so important to understand is that there is a quantum here in the
combination of these Motivations that the 6th Line being lives out, in their
correctness, when they come off the roof.

The 1st Color Motivation: Fear

When we move to our start, and we go down here to the 1st Color, and you
come into the world of the 6th Line, with a 1st Color remember that the 1st Color
is very much a driving force in terms of developing intelligence. But it's also
about the need to develop intelligence in order to perfect strategies and
security. This is the Communalist/Separatist. With this
Communalist/Separatist, you can see that this can fit very nicely into the first
two phases of the 6th Line being’s life. And it's very important for them to be
driven in that way.

But they're not here to be caught up in what's necessary, and those forces in
their life that say to them, “You need to do this, and you need to do that.”
Think about the 6th Line being in the first Saturn part of their life where they
make a mistake, and somebody says to them, “You need to fix that. You need
to repair that. You need to do that better. You need to do that all over again.”
This is something that in their intelligence they say that was not for me. That's
living out the 3rd Line phase. And if they don't, they end up with all the
suffering that goes with it, with the deep suffering that goes with thinking
that they have failed.

I guess it's the thing that's so interesting for me about the 6 when it comes to
the Upper Trigram because it's not really transpersonal. It's trans-personally
connected. That's what's so difficult, particularly for 6/2s. They have this
transpersonal connection to others, but they're not transpersonal. They're not
transpersonal in the way in the 4 or 5 are, which is, “We are here for you, and
you are here for us, and we're going to do this and that.” When the 6 comes
off the roof is just, “I'm here. You're here, too; how nice,” that’s all.

“Itness”

I love Lao Tzu. To me what he was really trying to teach us was about
something that hadn't happened yet. He was trying to teach us about the
consciousness of a 6th Line being who is correct and who was off the roof,
where everything simply happens. There is an “itness” to life that is just
perfect, and that one is just simply in the “itness.” But there is no
responsibility for the other. There is this coolness in this transpersonal
connection.

The Role Model is not responsible for the other. Heretics are responsible for
those that they condition. The Opportunist is responsible for their network;
they're responsible for all that. They maintain it, work with it, do it all. The 6 is
not responsible. The only responsibility it has is to be correct. Nothing else
because this is the future.

And it doesn't mean you're going to be alone; we know that. It isn't about
being alone, not having love, friendship, bonds, all of these things. It has
nothing to do with any of that. But that's not what the Motivation is, because
the Motivation is a quantum. It's something mysterious in the way in which it
is operating. And the driving force is “itness.” “I am, I am, I am. I am unique. I
love myself. I am.” That's it. And out of that perfected “I am,” this is humanity
reaching its Godhead.

Unique Correctness

I used to get a lot of funny raised eyebrows when I would talk about the fact
that the only responsibility in the education of humanity is to learn how to be
God. This is what we're trying to do, create life and recreate life. True godliness
is perfection of uniqueness. If you want to have a spiritual moment and think
that, if it's your belief system to believe that there was a God that created all
of this, then to be correct and unique is to be one with your God, exactly as
you were intended to be, however you want to look at all of that.

This is what the 6 promises us. But it promises more. It says that this is the
common denominator. The 6 says, “What's your problem? You do it. I'm not
doing it for you. I don't know how to do it for you. I only know how to be me.”
And it's not like that's the dialogue; that is the frequency.

When we enter into the new cycle and we enter into a 6th Line cycle, you can't
imagine, but we have this huge shift that's coming. We move away from the
Tribal, Collective, support, sharing, and we move into the deep Individual
mutative 6th Line. And this is where unique correctness is the way.

Role Models Are Leaders

Role Models are leaders; it’s in their whole keynoting. They’re leaders, they're
here to be trusted. They're all these wonderful things. But there is no active

leading. There is living. And it is the teaching of the 6th Line that everyone has
the capacity to learn how to live correctly within themselves. We each have
this extraordinary Inner Authority in us. It will guide us to correctness. And
again, for the 6th Line being, this is it. And the sooner you get to them, the
better.

The young generation coming in now, the 6/2s, the 6/3s, along with the 3/6s
and the 4/6s, boy, do they need our guidance, because they're laying the
framework of the future. They are going to be the sentinels that show us the
way. And they will show us the way by being who they are. That's their magic.

Not by telling us what to be, that's what I tell you. This is a 5th Line way. I’m
not schmoozing you to death in the network of a 4th Line. There is no
instruction. There is the example. And no longer is it “Do as I say,” it’s simply,
“If you're interested, you can see what I do. See me. This is what I am. This is it.
This is all there is.”

The Demise of the Manifestor

It's interesting, by the way, it’s just something that crossed my mind. In a way
the 6th Line mutation is a compensation for the demise of the Manifestor. And
I guess that's something that is why I'm intrigued with 6th Line beings.
Manifestors have this “I am it.” They have to because they're the only Type
that appears to be able to initiate, appears in the sense that that's the way
their mind looks at it. But nonetheless, there is this, “I can do it and I can do it
alone.”

Again, within the context of Manifestor, there's the need for impact, and so
forth and so on. But it's clear to me that the demise of Manifestor in 1781 and
the rise of 6th Line mutation in 1781, are deeply connected to each other. And
in the perfection that comes out of the correctness also comes power. It is not
power in reference to the other at all, but this inner power that in many ways
provides the ultimate security for the life, this empowerment of correctness,
this beauty that comes with realizing that one can never, ever be incorrect.
That's quite something.

And we don't know this world. As I speak, I recognize we do not know this. It
is not here. I am lucky enough in my life to have many friends, and other 6th

Line beings, that I've watched their progression in their process and the
power that they carry when they're correct, how profound that power actually
is. And they don't know what to do with it. The end up almost like 5th Line
beings, trying to be a value, in that sense, in the way in which they are
constantly giving directly to the other, and involving themselves in that way
with the other rather than allowing the other simply to watch them.
I'm very lucky I met the force, so I know that I cannot be incorrect. It gives me
enormous strength to live my life, whatever the circumstances of my life. And
to realize that in the helplessness of it all, how beautiful it is to have such
power to live your life correctly.

For 6th Line beings, this power is something that's contagious. It will give
Hope and strength and courage to so many beings. There is something
humiliating about constantly having to be told how to get to this point and
that point. This is no longer what our state is about. We all have the gift and
the capacity. We all can know precisely what is necessary for us; all of us,
every single living being.

This is really our maturity. This is the magic for me; this is the Buddha and the
Bodhisattva. This is true Buddhahood, the 18.6. It’s true Buddhahood; it’s
perfect. And all I can do is watch. The other becomes the Observer, you
become Observed, and it has no impact on you. There is no quantum on you.
There is no room for it, there is no place for it to get in.

The Kironian Stage and the 6th Line Being

The 6th Line being that gets to the Kironian stage in which their Color
becomes quantum, that is, the Transference becomes quantumized, you
can't touch them when they're correct. And when I say touch them, I mean in
the conditioning sense. You can’t pull them to this or that; they are this and
that and more. And it's the more that's the mystery. It's the mystery to be
revealed to us by none other than those who shall live it, after all.

It's the 6th Line beings living correctly coming off the roof who are the ones
that in their flowering—and for me, that flowering is another Saturn cycle, it's
another 30 years or so until you get towards the end of the whole Uranian
process. It's this extraordinary opening up of the deep potential of wisdom
that lies in each of us through our uniqueness.

One other little mystery that I'll share with you. It's interesting about teachers
and students. I don't know if I've ever actually had a 6th Line being say to me,
“Why is there a 3rd Line phase?” rather than, “What does it mean and what is
it about?” which has always been interesting to me.

I mentioned to you the way in which the Magnetic Monopole takes the top
frequency emitted from the Crystals. And that top frequency is what we call
Color. You can also see that when we're dealing with hexagram structure, the
top frequency is the 6. One of the things to see clearly is that the 6 is deeply
connected to the Transference process, which is why you have this mirror of
Color Transference in the actual 6th Line in the first two phases of the life,
where in fact you have Line Transference. And it is the only example that you
have in any kind of Profile of this Line Transference. So, the 6th Line being
actually begins their process, in that sense, as a 3rd Line being.

The Uranian Phase and the 6th Line Being

Now, one of the things to really grasp is—think about the new cycle and think
about childhood. Basically the way it worked was in the Saturnian cycle you
had the prenatal phase, you had childhood and childhood went immediately
into adulthood. In the Uranian phase, it’s very interesting. You have the
prenatal stage, and you have the postnatal. And it only applies to the 6th Line
being. The postnatal is this Saturn cycle. And then they begin their childhood.

That is, 6th Line beings begin their childhood basically when they're 28, 29
years old. They're going to reach adulthood when they get over the midlife
and as they start moving towards their Kiron. So they actually have a very,
very different process.

When most people think about the 6th Line beings and the 3rd Line phase,
they think about it as if it were an aspect of what they are as a 6th Line being.
And in fact, nobody is more immature in their first 28 or 29 years than a 6th
Line Profile. They are very immature. They're very immature because they're
meant to be very immature. They're designed to be that way. And of course,
that's why they are so vulnerable in the first 30 years of their life. They're
actually laying out a new life program for us, but they're caught in the old life
program.

But anyway, I wanted you to understand this relationship between the 6th
Line and Transference. So, you see this relationship in the Line Transference
and to recognize that the binary of the Color and the binary of the Line
Transference both come to an end at the Kiron where the quantum is
intended to take over.
A Quantum Motivation

So, whenever you get to the Kiron, whenever you're looking at the Colors,
what you're looking for is a quantum Motivation. Those of you that are really
interested in a pondering exercise because I think often just pondering
keynotes is something that's very profound, what is the quantum of Desire
and Innocence? What is the quantum of Guilt and Hope? What is the
quantum of Fear and Need? What is the whole that's greater than both of
them.

It's really something to think about, because it's actually not only a good
exercise, but it's very profound, because you're really beginning then to
explore what the higher Motivation level is of the mutative 6th Line being. And
a 6th Line being is in a mutative process until the Kiron. That's when they are
expected to be able to live out this quantum force. And it means that if
they're not ready, the quantum is at work, but it's not integrated. They're just
simply lost, bouncing back and forth between this Motivation and that
Motivation and not being correct and with the not-self ruling them, and all of
the things that we have been looking at.

The 2nd Color Motivation: Hope

To go along with our Colors, let's look at the Hope for a moment. The 6th Line,
2nd Color can be, for example, a benefit when one is going through one's early
phase with that hopefulness. But again, when you look at Hope, it's
Theist/Anti-theist. So many 6th Line beings of 2nd Color go through this
spiritual rejection. They go through in either the first part of their life where
they're anti-theist, and the second part where they are theist or vice versa.
They go through these various stages.

Again, remember that the 6 is always deeply aligned in its first two stages
with the Colors. In other words, operating correctly. So, here's somebody who

will operate correctly out of that Hope theme, and however they color their
Line Transference with the duality of the Hope, it is going to be unhealthy for
them if they're transferring to the Guilt. They're not here to be the fixer, in that
sense.

What's interesting about that is the moment that 6th Line being who has a 2nd
Color reaches their Kiron, then you have the quantum. What is the whole
that's larger than the Hope-Guilt binary? Because here they're just separate
things. Again, this is the thing that is so fascinating about the potential of the
6th Line being.

Buddhahood Is Intended for Everyone’s Potential

The most interesting thing for me is that Buddhahood is intended to be

everyone's potential. I guess, this is the thing that's so interesting about what
the 6th Line being is bringing. The age that we live in, the age that we're
moving towards is a new kind of anti-divinity. What I mean by that is that
holiness is within us, rather than holiness being outside of us.

It’s the purity of inner spirituality, as opposed to the 5th Line heretical
spirituality that you get from messiahs, gurus, prophets, and the whole
collection of religious figures that we have had throughout our history. We
are looking at something that is totally different, as if you could imagine a
million different religions, because each one is simply the byproduct of a
unique Role Model living as an example.

It's quite a thing to think about this quantum Motivation because this really is
the magic. And of course, if you turn this around, and somebody comes in
with a 6th Line, 5th Color, then obviously, that Conditioner/Conditioned is going
to be applied to the first and second life phases. It's essential for them to be
the Conditioner/Conditioned in all of that. And it's important for them to have
allies in their life that are going to point them in that direction, rather than
trying to get them into the hopefulness of the Transference.

But the moment that you get to Kiron, it’s immediately different. The
moment you get to Kiron, you get into this quantum. It's not this or that. So,
looking at this or that as it comes at you remains intellectually interesting for

the passenger; it's always valued information. But it's not important in the
terms of is it going to impact who you are.

I love the 6. If you look at the way I've talked about all the other Lines, those
Lines are always waiting for the other or something. They're caught up in a
process that doesn't allow them to truly transcend. And it has been our
history, you see the history as you walk through the Lines, there's a story to be
told there. And none of them can stand alone.

When you look at the Transpersonal, when you look at the Upper Trigram,
and you look at this whole transpersonal quality, isn't it so incredible that the
bringing of the common denominator Buddhahood is not a transpersonal
thing? It's not. It's like my dear friend Frank, who introduced himself to me as
God and justified it by saying that when he died, he’d take me with him, in
the sense that he would take the whole illusion of the world that he had
imagined in his mind with him. He's a 6; this is a 6-ness. This is the real
holiness.

We’re Headed Towards Perfection

It's so fascinating because it is not truly transpersonal. And yet, it carries more
auric power than any of the previous states because this is where we've been
going throughout our entire history. The whole evolution of the life process
on this planet is all pointed at this, all of it. It's the thing to really grasp; it's all
pointed at this. It's perfect. We're headed towards this perfection.

It’s easy to say well, okay, we're all headed towards this perfection but yes,
yes; oh, there's lots of “buts.” There's nothing more overwhelming in this life
then the impact of the not-self. And it takes time for essential knowledge to
penetrate the world. For me, it's clear that Human Design’s critical mass is
hundreds of years away. It is the way things work. It takes time.

And in all of this, it is not about waiting for the rest of the planet, it is the glory
of what we are in these forms in this interregnum between 1781 and 2027.
We're here like test pilots, demonstrating the viability of a new vehicle, and
the top guns are sitting at the top of the hexagram. They're here to show that
not only is the vehicle viable, but the vehicle is the next thing, because this is
what it's about. It's about the next thing.

And the next thing is that each and every one of us has the potential to stand
alone in the perfection of our uniqueness. It's the great teaching, and it is
something that can only be evidenced when we have a society in which we
have our Role Models, that they are there. And not there in the sense that we
have them today because today they're not true Role Models. Today the
people we call Role Models are either Heretics or Opportunists. The real Role
Model is not visible universally, may not be within the network of the 4, may
only have impact on a closed circle. But this is the way it's meant to be, each
being simply operating correctly.

The 4th Color Motivation: Need

The 4th Color is always a dilemma, and it's always transferring. Obviously,
when we're talking about the 6th Line being that has a 4th Color, we have to
see that their post Kiron phase is enormously complex, because they are
attuned to so many different motivating forces. And if you have it, you also
have the potential to perfect it.

This is the thing that I love about looking at anybody's design. You look at
somebody's design and you know that they could perfect it. It's not
impossible. It's not even improbable. Theoretically, mechanically,
experientially, experimentally, we know that you can do it. And it's really
something to understand that when you look at your Lines, whether it's
exalted or detriment, or you're a triple or a quad, or you're a Reflector or you're
this or that, you also have to understand that you are made for that. You are
that. This is the essence of what you're here for. This is the perfection of the
vehicle that you need precisely now to fulfill your potential.

And it doesn't matter whether your Color is this or that. All of the things that
we talk about at a higher level of the knowledge, at a professional level in the
knowledge, we need to understand technically all of these things in order to
be good at the job of sharing it, empowering, and all those things that we do
with the other. For me, it's essential. I need to be able to outline it and teach
it.

The 6th Line Pays a Price for Incorrectness

But in the end, it's about correctness, and the rigidity of it. Only the 6th Line
pays the supreme price for incorrectness. You can be a 3 and mess up, but
you're designed to get back up on your feet. If you're a 6 and you mess up
enough, you don't get back up in your feet. There's a tremendous amount of
fragility that is there in the not-self 6 with the turmoil of the tripartite life
process, what they don't know, the dilemma of the way in which they
operate, and what is expected of them. I think that's the thing that's so
interesting, what's expected of them.

I look at the 6th Line from everything that I understand about the nature of
the 6th Line, and say, “You get it together. You're laying out the pattern. And
the only responsibility you have is to yourself; do it for yourself. Do it for the
perfection of what it is to be you and with every breath you will make a
difference in the world around you.”

And whether it is the Generators of the planet with their enveloping aura that
will bring that Role Model power into the lives of other beings, or whether it's
going to be the other partner in the life story, the Projectors who are going to
be 6th Line, we're going to truly have the ability to guide without guiding. Oh,
is that ever magic?

Haven't you ever known that? You go up to somebody and before you can
even ask the question, you already know what answer they're going to give
you, and nothing has happened. It may be entirely your projection by the
way. There are ways.

Do Without Doing and Everything Gets Done

The Druids—I love them, they’re interesting folk—had a saying that was really
remarkable: Do without doing and everything gets done. And you can run it
on your tongue because it's a nice one: Do without doing and everything gets
done.

This is the mantra of the 6th Line being. This is the greatest teaching of all. Life
is just there, you are just in it, and you are perfect in it as yourself. Nothing
more; nothing less. And then everything will be as it should be. And those in
this life who do not know, who will not have shepherds to guide them, will
have the sentinels of Role Models. They will see them, they will be in their life,

and they will have an enormous impact just out of their being correct.
Nothing more; nothing less. It’s quite a thing.
