Her style of prose is highly figurative containing frequent use of metaphor and allegory.

finicky (adj) difficult to please; fussy

flexible (adj) (of writing, drawing etc.) without breaks or sudden changes

flighty (adj) easily changing your opinions, ideas, etc.
