DAMATH RULES
1. Set the starting positions of the chips. Each level has its own corresponding chips: Integers for Grade 7,
Rational for Grade 8, Radicals for Grade 9, and Polynomials for Grade 10 and Senior High School.
(Note: Mathematical operations must be covered by the chips.)
2. After the starting positions of the chips have been set, the first player is determined by drawing lots. The
illustrated board will be the official DaMath board for District and Division level competitions.
4. A chip has to take the opponent’s chip diagonally forward or backward, thus, PASS is not allowed.

entries shall be their responsibility. In case of incorrect entries in the score sheet, a player has to
immediately call the attention of the arbiter by raising one’s hand and timer should be paused. As
determined by the said arbiter, the appropriate corrections will be done by the erring player in as much
as the former’s decision is final and unappealable. (Arbiter will not give any comment unless asked by
the player.)
