* Restructured staffing and scheduling hours utilizing a cascading process
to accommodate the
needs of the hospital and clients.
* Successfully maintained and increased IRF census, 5-10%, thru daily
meetings with case
managers, admissions coordinator, and senior leadership team; as well as thru
marketing
strategies to hospitals, physician offices, and other healthcare referral
sources.
* Developed and implemented an Acute Schedule Template for PT, OT, and ST.
* Initiated a process for restructuring the Rehab Referral Form to reflect
services offered o Streamlined
processes between Admitting Staff and Therapies to improve scheduling and
decrease cancellations
and no-shows.
* Successfully developed and implemented the G-Code Functional Reporting
Template for outpatient
P.T., O.T., and S.T. disciplines.
* Created and implemented a new position and job description for the
Aquatic Therapy Coordinator.
* Initiated the process for creating a new position for an Authorization
Specialist.
