Useful Tips
• All amigurumi toys are crocheted with tight stitches. Avoid small holes. If there are any
holes through which stuffing material can be seen, use a smaller size hook. (Use a smaller
hook size than is recommended on the label of the yarn.)

• To avoid seams, all rounds are worked in a continuous spiral. Do not join or turn it unless
otherwise instructed.

• Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the last stitch of every round.

• Stuff your amigurumi as you go. It is very hard to stuff the detail evenly when it is
almost finished. While stuffing, do not forget to shape the body parts to give them a nice
accurate shape. Never overstuff them.

Finish it with a sl and cut the yarn. Leave a long tail of yarn to sew the wig.

13
Hair
Pin the Wig onto the head. Place the 2 magic circles on each other. Next, pin the fringe (6 shorter
hair strands), making sure they look symmetrical! After, you can pin the rest of the strands onto
the head, one by one. See the picture below.

Do not sew the hair yet! You have to pin and sew the ears first!

14
Place both ears between the third and fourth longer hair strands. If you lift up the first and the
second hair strands, the ear has to line up with the eye.

Sew both ears onto the head. When it is done, you can sew or glue the hair strands one by one
onto the head. Sew or glue only the hdc, and let the rest of the hair curl. (I like to start from the
fringe and go around.)
