Dear Admissions committee,
I am excited to write this statement of purpose for my application to pursue a Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Technology
has been an integral part of my life, sparking my curiosity from a young age. Over the years, this
interest has transformed into a passion for programming, artificial intelligence, and database
management, which I am eager to further develop in an academic environment that encourages
innovation and critical thinking.
My interest in computer science began during high school when I chose it as one of my core
subjects. As I delved into topics such as programming, data structures, and algorithms, I
discovered a deep fascination for solving problems through logical reasoning. Python, in
particular, became my favorite programming language because of its simplicity and wide range
of applications. Beyond classroom assignments, I began exploring Python independently,
creating small programs and even attempting basic machine learning algorithms.
In addition to programming, I have developed a strong foundation in database management,

particularly using My SQL. The ability to structure, retrieve, and manipulate data efficiently
fascinates me, as I see it as the backbone of modern applications. For example, I once worked on
a project where I combined Python and My SQL to create a Train Reservation system. This
project allowed me to see the interplay between databases and programming in action and
solidified my desire to work in fields that require the integration of these skills.
Germany has always been a country I admire for its emphasis on quality education, research, and
innovation. It is home to some of the best universities in the world, offering a balance of
theoretical learning and practical exposure. The technological advancements and the focus on
industry-academia collaboration in Germany align perfectly with my career goals. When
researching universities, Fresenius University of Applied Sciences stood out to me because of
its strong emphasis on Computer Science and its approach to blending foundational knowledge
with cutting-edge research.

reasons I am applying. I am particularly drawn to courses that focus on Artificial Intelligence,
Data Science, and Software Development. The opportunity to gain hands-on experience through
Labs, Workshops, and Internships excites me as I believe practical exposure is essential for
understanding the nuances of the field. Furthermore, Fresenius University of Applied Sciences

academic backgrounds resonates with my own values. I am confident that studying in such an

Coding competitions, which helped me sharpen my problem-solving skills under pressure. These

Beyond academics, I am passionate about learning new things and sharing my knowledge with
others. I have taken online courses in Python and Artificial Intelligence to enhance my
understanding of these fields. Additionally, I have spent time tutoring younger students in Math
and Science, which has improved my communication skills and given me immense satisfaction
in helping others grasp complex concepts. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the
importance of education and its ability to empower individuals.
