SPECIAL EVENTS & ACHIEVEMENTS

● Hardware club of ECE in association with IEDC conducted a 5 day workshop on Python
programming for beginners from October 2 to 6,2021.

● Emage organized a one day training for the technical staff of ECE,BME,CSE and EEE on
Proteus software on November 12,2021.The sessions were handled by Ms.Binet Rose
devassy and Ms.Chinchu Jose.

● 9 students got K-DISC FSD scholarship.The students are Lakshmi, Ayona, Nicemol, Anish,
Ann Mary, Alisha Jose,Akshara and Adlee.

● 8 final year ECE students got selected for an internship at NPOL, the research laboratory of
DRDO.
● Ann Mary and Chippy Benny of final year ECE secured first prize in the digital poster
making competition “Say No to Dowry “ hosted by SCET.

● Adlee Xavier of S7 ECE had approved with an consultancy work with Star Innovations on
project title LED driver design using NodeMCU & ATMEGA 328

● Faculty of ECE Department visited the Kerala Startup Mission Maker village and Fablab at
Kochi on 25/3/2022 to learn about the latest fabrication technology in electronics industry.
  A hands-on training on report making in Latex software was conducted by Dr. Silpa PA and
Ms. Ambily Francis for 2019-23 batch students on 13/5/2022
.

 As part of the MoU between Sahrdaya and CDAC, a one day hands-on training on “VEGA
Processors and Ecosystems-the first indigenous development board by CDAC” was held on 13-
05-2022 for 2020-24 batch ECE students and selected students from 2019-23 batch.
 Industrial Interaction on Career Opportunities in Business Intelligence by Ms. Anagha

 Valsakumar of Accenture was conducted on 04-01-2022

 2018-22 Batch ECE students and two faculty visited at ITI Ltd. Palakkad for learning PCB
manufacturing technologies on 04-02-2022.

  To equip the students for higher studies after their UG program, an orientation session on
GATE-2023 was conducted on 27-06-2022 in association with ONES, Kochi.
 "Google I/O Extended Thrissur" was conducted in association with Google Developer
society, Google Educators and TCS for registered students on 25/6/2022

 To nurture the research skills among students, a session on “How to do a Literature Review”
was conducted on 21-06-2022 by Dr. Gnana King for 2019-23 batch students.

STUDENT PLACEMENTS
● 19 students out of 33 students from 2018-2022 batch got placed in various companies like
QuEST Global,Wipro, TCS, UST,IBS, Cognizant, Virtusa, Qburst, Byjus, Sutherland till
January 15/1/2022.
