Introduction: Hello, ladies and gentlemen, and to my fellow schoolmates, teachers, and staff.

Good
after.

I'm here for a reason. And I have a story about how I witnessed the effects of pandemic on us.
During the pandemic, we also see in our daily life and around us the effects of covid 19 on our country.
we don't have to read it, we saw it. I realized that COVID-19 change the world. Because This pandemic
has changed human behavior, relationships, work, and style, and it also had a profound impact on the
economic, political, and cultural views of societies around the world, not just in the Philippines.

Today I'm going to talk about the effects of the pandemic on education. Way back from the
start of COVID-19. The disease was initially reported to the WHO on Dec 31, 2019, then, on March 11,
2020, the, WHO declared COVID-19 a global pandemic and so does people know about that. And this is
also the first effects of the pandemic on humans’ health, livelihood, and education began.

Amid of initial COVID-19 surge, just a week shy of the end of academic year or more in the
future. As we know that covid 19 created the largest disruption of education system in human history.
Like nearly 1.6 billion learners in more than 200 countries closure of schools, institutions and other
learning spaces have impacted more than 94% of the world students populationthis has brought far
reading changes in all aspects pf our lives. so this school year, the dep-ed is adopting three learning
modalities which is modular and online distance learning and radio/tv based instructions.

 So we have to stay in our house for the whole year it’s pretty good but when studying we
have to do a face to face in our phone, computer, laptop or modules. Sometimes it’s hard
because we don’t have a guide for us to study and sometimes some kids don’t have
internet or phone so they can’t study.

For Example:

The people of the province the school are far away and the people there are poor so our
government officials and Dep-ed implement to stop the face to face classes at all levels. And continue
the class using online classes and modular. Many of those Filipinos can't afford to buy a gadget or
cellphone for their child's online class so they just choose not,, to enroll their children in education in
that way. In another way, some parents do not send their children to school because they are afraid of
the disease, that we are facing today. That is why many young people have stopped studying and
dreams and lost hope due to the pandemic.

We already know now the effects of pandemic on education. So in what way? we could help our fellow
Filipino students to give them hope for their education and their dreams? And the children will have a
smile on their faces.,

Before I end this speech, I've written a piece of advice for my fellow students. Now we're
facing COVID-19 issues, at the end of the day, all we need is hope and strength. Hope that it
will eventually get better, and strength to hold till it does. While we are waiting, whatever
hardship, challenges, indecisions and fears that we are facing, we just remember that those
too shall pass and buy the grace of God we will overcome it. To my fellow students I hope that
we continue to trust our teachers. That what we do today will define what kind of health
professionals we will all be in the future, just remember that tomorrow is still full of wonderful
possibilities and we can do it!!!!!! That's all thank you!! And God bless,
