DIRECTIONS: Fill in the blanks with concrete or abstract noun to complete the
sentence. Choose your answer in the box, then write it on the space provided.
DIRECTION: Read the nonfiction paragraph. Answer the following questions below.
The Sun is a giant star at the center of our solar system. It is so big that you
could fit about one million Earths inside it! The Sun is made of very hot gases. Its
surface is thousands of degrees hot. (We think Earth, on the other hand, is really hot
when it’s 100 degrees!) Even though the Sun is 93 million miles away, we can still feel
its warmth and see its light every day. The Sun helps plants grow, keeps our planet
warm and gives us daylight. Without the Sun, there would be no life on Earth!
31. How many Earths could you fit inside the Sun?
a. One hundred b. One thousand c. One million
