Describe a situation when you didn’t have enough time

There have been many situations in my life where I have had to deal
with time constraints, but one that stands out, in particular, was when I had to
complete a university assignment in a very short amount of time.
It was during my final year of university, and I had a major project due in two
days. I had been working on it for weeks, but I still had a lot left to do.
Unfortunately, I had to attend to a family emergency out of town and was
away for two days. When I returned, I was shocked to realize that I had only
a few hours left to complete the project.
I immediately got to work and tried my best to complete as much as I could
in the limited time I had. I worked without a break and completed almost all
the remaining work by the deadline. However, I ran out of time to do the final
checks and revisions and had to submit the project with some errors and
typos.
Although disappointed with the final result, I was proud of myself for
completing the majority of the work in such a short amount of time. It taught
me the importance of managing time effectively and not procrastinating until
the last minute. From that day on, I planned my time better and avoided
leaving things until the last minute.
It was a challenging situation, but it taught me a valuable lesson and helped
me to become more productive and efficie nt in my work.
SAVE MONEY

“I had to save a large sum of money when I bought my first car for more
conveniently travelling to work. I can’t remember the exact date, but I
suspect it’s 6 years ago.

On top of that, this was when I left home to live independently, and I wanted
to pay my own way so that I refused to lend money from my parents. It all
seems that I was living on the breadline and couldn’t afford this purchase.

Fortunately, I had a full-time job and earned a good salary and an extra
income from some freelance projects during my free time. But it may take
years to get enough money to buy my car if I just kept living on the fast lane.
So, to save money, I decided to cut down on luxuries and avoid exceeding
my agreed credit limit. Then, I called my financial consultant and accepted a
bank loan for my purchase. Also, I didn’t miss this opportunity to get a good
deal as the car price was going cheap and finally I can drive to work
everyday.

I was very comfortable with my car and satisfied with my saving. But I think
the point is I learn a saving lessons and make my saving habit for a bigger
money like buying a house in the future.”
KỂ LẦN BẠN NHẬN ĐƯỢC EMAIL TỐT

I remember a time when I received good news from an email. It was last
month when I applied for a summer internship at a company I admired.

After submitting my application, I anxiously waited to hear back from

them. Then, one morning, I checked my email and saw a message from the
company with the subject line "Internship Offer." Excitedly, I opened the
email and read that I had been selected for the internship! I couldn't believe it
- I was thrilled to have been chosen for the opportunity. The email provided
details about the internship program, including the start date, responsibilities,
and compensation. It also congratulated me on being selected and expressed
excitement about having me join their team. I couldn't wait to share the news
with my family and friends. I immediately called my parents and told them
about the exciting email I had received. They were overjoyed and proud of
my achievement.

Receiving the good news by email was a moment of pure happiness and
relief. It affirmed my hard work and dedication, and I looked forward to the
valuable experience the internship would provide. From that day on, I eagerly
counted down the days until the start of the internship, grateful for the
opportunity that had come my way.
TELL A TIME YOU WORKED WITH THE ELDERLY AND YOUNG

I recall a time when I had the opportunity to work with both young and old
people while volunteering at a local community center. It was during a
summer program aimed at bridging the generation gap and fostering
intergenerational connections. As a volunteer, my responsibilities included
assisting with various activities and facilitating interactions between
participants of different age groups. I worked alongside young children,
teenagers, and older adults, each bringing their unique perspectives and
experiences to the table.

During the program, I helped organize games, arts and crafts sessions, and
educational workshops that catered to participants of all ages. It was
heartwarming to see how the young and old interacted with each other,
sharing stories, laughter, and valuable life lessons. Working with young
children was particularly rewarding, as their boundless energy and
enthusiasm brought a sense of joy and vitality to the activities. At the same
time, interacting with older adults provided me with insights into their
wisdom, resilience, and rich life experiences. Throughout the program, I
witnessed friendships blossoming between participants of different
generations, breaking down barriers and fostering mutual understanding and
respect. It was a humbling experience that taught me the importance of
inclusivity, empathy, and the value of intergenerational connections in
building strong and vibrant communities.

Overall, working with both young and old people was a fulfilling
experience that left a lasting impression on me, reminding me of the beauty
and richness of diversity in all its forms.
TELL A TIME YOU WORKED IN A TEAM

I remember a time when I worked as part of a team on a school project. It

was last semester when my classmates and I were assigned to collaborate on
a group presentation for our history class.

At first, I was a bit nervous about working in a team, as I wasn't sure how
well we would all get along and coordinate our efforts. However, I soon
realized that we were all committed to doing our best and supporting each
other throughout the project.
We started by brainstorming ideas and dividing the tasks based on each team
member's strengths and interests.
Some of us focused on research, while others worked on creating visuals and
organizing the presentation.
Despite some differences in opinions and approaches, we communicated
openly and respectfully, addressing any challenges that arose along the way.
We also set regular meetings to update each other on our progress and discuss
any issues or concerns.
As the deadline approached, we worked together tirelessly to finalize our
presentation and ensure that it was polished and cohesive. Despite the
occasional setback or disagreement, we remained focused on our common
goal and supported each other to overcome any obstacles. On the day of the
presentation, we delivered our project with confidence and pride, receiving
positive feedbackfrom our classmates and teacher. It was a rewarding
experience to see our hard work pay off and to know that we had
accomplished something meaningful together as a team.
Tell me about a time you met an impolite person.

I remember a time when I encountered an impolite person while waiting in

line at the grocery store. It was a busy day, and the line was quite long. As I
patiently waited my turn, a man behind me started to become increasingly
impatient and rude.
He began to loudly complain about the wait, making negative remarks about
the cashier and the store. Then, when it was finally his turn to pay, he started
to argue with the cashier over the price of an item. His tone was aggressive,
and he spoke to the cashier in a disrespectful manner.
I felt uncomfortable witnessing his behavior, and I could see that the cashier
was also upset by his rudeness. I tried to diffuse the situation by calmly
reminding the man to be more patient and respectful, but he ignored me and
continued to berate the cashier.
Eventually, the cashier was able to resolve the issue, and the man left the
store in a huff. I felt sorry for the cashier and apologized on behalf of the
man's behavior. It was a reminder of how important it is to treat others with
kindness and respect, even in stressful situations.
TELL A TIME YOU HELPED SOMEONE

I remember a time when I helped someone who was struggling to carry

their groceries home from the store. It happened last month when I was
walking home from school and noticed an elderly woman struggling to carry
several heavy bags of groceries. Without hesitation, I approached her and
offered to help carry the bags. She gratefully accepted my offer, and together
we walked slowly to her house. During our short journey, we exchanged
polite conversation, and I learned that she lived alone and had difficulty
carrying heavy items due to her age.
When we arrived at her house, she thanked me profusely for my help and
insisted on giving me a small token of appreciation-a homemade cookie she
had baked earlier that day.
I graciously accepted her gift and bid her farewell before continuing on my
way home. Though it was a simple act of kindness, it felt good to know that I
had made a difference in someone's day. Reflecting on the experience, I
realized the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need, no matter
how small the gesture. It reminded me of the power of kindness and
compassion in making the world a better place.
TELL A TIME YOU DID SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T WANT TO DO

I remember a time when I had to do something I didn't want to do, which

was attending a family gathering that I wasn't particularly excited about. It
was a few months ago when my extended family decided to have a reunion to
celebrate my grandparents' anniversary.
Although I love my family, I wasn't looking forward to the gathering
because I knew it would be crowded and noisy, and I preferred spending my
time alone or with close friends. However, I understood the importance of
family and felt obligated to attend.
Despite my reluctance, I decided to go to the reunion with a positive
attitude. Throughout the event, I made an effort to engage in conversations
with relatives, participate in activities, and contribute to the celebratory
atmosphere. As the day went on, I found myself enjoying the company of my
family members and appreciating the opportunity to reconnect with distant
relatives whom I hadn't seen in a long time. I realized that although I may not
always want to do certain things, they can still turn out to be enjoyable
experiences when approached with an open mind and a positive attitude. In
the end, I was glad that I attended the family gathering, as it allowed me to
strengthen my bonds with my relatives and create cherished memories
together.
TELL A TIME YOU LAUGHED AT YOUR FRIEND (Laughs Out
Loud)

One time, I had a wonderful experience laughing with my friends during a

picnic in the park. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, and we decided to
gather at the park for some outdoor fun.
We brought along blankets, snacks, and games, ready to enjoy each other's
company. As we lounged on the grass, we shared funny stories and jokes,
which had us all laughing uncontrollably.
One friend recounted a hilarious mishap they had experienced during a
recent trip, while another shared a silly joke they had heard. We laughed until
our stomachs hurt, enjoying the simple pleasure of being together and sharing
moments of joy.
We also played games like frisbee and soccer, which led to even more
laughter as we stumbled and tripped over ourselves. Even the simplest things,
like chasing after a runaway ball or trying to balance on a wobbly log,
became sources of amusement and laughter.
As the day turned into evening, we gathered around a bonfire and roasted
marshmallows, reminiscing about old memories and making plans for future
adventures. The warmth of the fire and the glow of friendship made the
moment even more special.
By the time we said our goodbyes and headed home, our spirits were
lifted, and our hearts were full. It was a day filled with laughter, camaraderie,
and cherished memories that I will always treasure.
TELL A TIME YOU SAVED MONEY FOR SOMETHING

I remember a time when I saved time to buy something I had been wanting
for a long time. It was last year when I decided to purchase a new
smartphone.
I had been using my old phone for several years, and it was starting to
slow down and become outdated. I
Instead, I decided to do some research online to compare prices and
features of different smartphones. displayed.knew it was time for an upgrade,
but I didn't want to spend too much time shopping around. After narrowing
down my options, I made a list of the top choices and set a budget for myself.
Next, I went to a nearby electronics store that had a wide selection of
smartphones. Instead of spending hours browsing through all the options, I
went straight to the section where my preferred models were

I asked a salesperson for assistance and quickly made my decision based

on the features and price range I had identified earlier. Within a short amount
of time, I was able to find the perfect smartphone that met all my needs and
fit within my budget.

By saving time on the shopping process, I was able to purchase the

smartphone without any hassle and start enjoying its benefits right away. It
was a satisfying feeling to have made an informed decision efficiently and
effectively.
KỂ LẦN BẠN NHẬN ĐƯỢC 1 MÓN QUÀ

I remember a time when I received a gift from my best friend on my

birthday. It was a few years ago when we were both in high school.

On the morning of my birthday, my friend surprised me with a beautifully

wrapped present. I was thrilled and curious to see what was inside.

As I unwrapped the gift, I discovered a lovely journal with a personalized

message from my friend written on the first page. She explained that she
chose the journal because she knew how much I enjoyed writing and
expressing myself through words.

I was touched by her thoughtful gesture and grateful for the meaningful
gift. It was something that I could use every day to jot down my thoughts,
ideas, and memories.

I thanked my friend profusely for the gift and gave her a warm hug. Her
kindness and thoughtfulness made my birthday even more special, and I
cherished the journal as a token of our friendship. Since then, I have used the
journal to document important moments in my life, from happy memories to
personal reflections. It serves as a constant reminder of the special bond I
share with my friend and the importance of treasuring meaningful gifts from
loved ones.
