1.What is presentation ?
Ans:- A computer-based presentation consists of a set of computer visuals (slides) that you design and
produce to deliver a message to an audience.
Ans:- A slide show, or slideshow, is a presentation of a series of still images (slides) on a projection screen
or electronic display device, typically in a prearranged sequence
Ans:- Impress is a open office tool to create presentations. It’s very similar to Microsoft’s PowerPoint.
Impress can handle both Microsoft’s PowerPoint format (ppt) as well as its own open standard format
called open document presentation format (odp) which is internationally recognized.
4.Define presentation. How many types of presentation wizard are there in Impress?
Ans:- A presentation is a display of information with graphics, text, sound, movies, etc. The presentation
is displayed on the screen step by step. A presentation contains series of slides. These slides consists of
colour, images and sound,etc.

1.Differentiate between Slide Sorter view and Slide Show view.
Ans:- Slide Sorter view (below) displays all the slides in your presentation in horizontally sequenced,
thumbnails. Slide show view is helpful if you need to reorganize your slides—you can just click and drag
your slides to a new location, or add sections to organize your slides into meaningful groups
Ans:- The cut command removes the selected data from its original position, while the copy command
creates a duplicate; in both cases the selected data is kept in temporary storage (the clipboard). The data
from the clipboard is later inserted wherever a paste command is issued.
3.In how many ways can you view a presentation? Name them.
Ans:- It has five tabs: Normal, Outline, Notes, Handout, and Slide Sorter. These five tabs are called View
buttons
Ans:- Slide layouts contain formatting, positioning, and placeholder boxes for all of the content that
appears on a slide.
Ans:- Create a new regular slide and do Slide → Change Slide Master and click the Load button. Find the
template you created earlier and choose the master slide you want to duplicate. After clicking OK, the
master slide will be duplicated when you go to the slide masters view where you can rename it and
modify it.
SESSION – 3
Ans:- Typefaces can be divided into two main categories: serif and sans serif. Serifs comprise the
small features at the end of strokes within letters. The printing industry refers to typeface without
serifs as sans serif (from French sans, meaning without), or as grotesque (or, in German, grotesk).
Ans:- An alignment is support for a particular group, especially in politics, or for a side in a quarrel or
struggle. The church should have no political alignment. 2. Uncountable noun.

animations.
Ans:- H W

Choose a slide, select an object on the slide, then add your choice of animation. The effect displays
in the Slide pane. Preview the slide show by selecting slide show located at the bottom of the task
pane.
Ans:- Numbered points are very similar in format to bulleted points except that you usually use
numbers when the order of the list is important – for example the agenda for a meeting. You can
also use letters for this.
