Instructions to Candidates
INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1. Reach the Test Centre well in time 1.30 hour (One and Half hours) before to identify
the Seating Place in the Seating Plan displayed and avoid crowding at a particular
location at the Entrance Test Centre.
2. No candidate shall be permitted to enter the Examination Hall/Room 15 minutes after the
commencement of the Entrance Test, i.e. at 2.15 pm.
3. Candidates are allowed to carry only the following items to the Examination Hall/
Room:
a) Blue/ Black Ball Point Pen
b) Admit Card
c) Any valid Photo I.D. Proof and photographs
d) Transparent Water Bottle
4. Candidates are advised to bring their own BLUE/ BLACK BALL POINT PEN etc. and
the sharing of Pen, Pencil etc. will not be allowed.
5. Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying any communication devices, such as cell
phones, or electronic gadgets, including digital watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth
devices, earphones, pagers, health bands, or calculators, into the Examination Hall/Room.
However, analog watches are permitted.
a. No Candidates shall open the seal of the plastic envelope containing Question
Booklet and OMR Response Sheet before 2:00 P.M.
b. The instructions on the Question Booklet and OMR Response sheet are clearly
visible to candidates through the sealed plastic envelope. Candidates are required
to read these instructions before the commencement of the test at 2:00 PM.
c. After opening the Plastic Sealed Envelope at 2:00 pm, the candidate should verify
whether the Question Paper Booklet contains all the printed pages. In case of any
defect in the Question Paper Booklet, they should immediately bring it to the
notice of the invigilator, for the substitution of the entirely new Envelope
containing Question Booklet and OMR Response sheet. However, if a candidate
has made any mistake in filling in the particulars on the OMR Response
Sheet, the candidate may be asked to correct them on the same OMR, in such
a situation no Question Booklet and OMR Sheet will be replaced. A second
blank OMR Response Sheet will not be given under any circumstance.
d. Use only Black/ Blue Ball Point Pen for writing the Roll No. /details on OMR
Response Sheet and for shading the circles. The candidates are required to put

his/her signature and fill all the details such as Roll number and Question Booklet
Number in the space provided on the OMR Response Sheet.
e. The candidate is required to select the most appropriate answer to each question.
The answer circle should be shaded completely without leaving any space.
Incomplete circles will not be evaluated.
f. Indicate only one answer by shading from the options provided. More than one
response to a question shall be counted as ‘wrong answer’.
g. As per the AILET Entrance Test pattern, every correct answer will be given 1
mark and for every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
7. All questions shall be answered on OMR Response Sheet only. Candidates are advised to
go through the instructions given for marking the answers and other entries on the OMR
Response Sheet thoroughly.
8. As the OMR Response Sheet is carbonized, the candidates shall detach the second page
(carbon copy) of OMR Response Sheet and keep it with them for reference along with the
used Question Booklet. The first page of OMR Response Sheet (Original) shall be
submitted to the invigilator at the end of the Test.
9. The OMR Response Sheet should be handled carefully by the candidates. Candidates
are advised not to fold, wrinkle, tear or staple the Response Sheet under any
circumstances. The candidates are advised not to scribble or make any mark on the
OMR Response Sheet except marking the answers at the appropriate places and filling up
the details required. Fill up information and darken all the Relevant Circles on the OMR
Response Sheet carefully. Any violation of these instructions will automatically lead to
the invalidation of the OMR Response Sheet.
10. Use Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only, for darkening the circles as per the instructions
contained in the OMR Response Sheet and for filling other information in OMR
Response Sheet.

If the correct answer to Question No: 1 is ‘C’, in your opinion, please darken the circle as
shown above.
Please darken completely one circle only for each Question as shown above. If you
darken more than one circle against a Question, the response to that Question will be
considered as a ‘wrong’ answer. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

11. No clarifications shall be sought from anybody during the continuation of Test.
12. At 4:00 pm, all the candidates should stop writing and return the OMR Response Sheets
to the invigilator. It may be noted that carrying the OMR Response Sheet out of the Test
Centre will lead to disqualification of the candidate. It is an offence, and appropriate
action shall be taken in accordance with law.
13. No candidate shall leave the Examination Hall/Room till all OMR Response Sheets have
been collected by the invigilator.
14. Any candidate who is found either copying or receiving or giving assistance will be
disqualified and it will be treated as an Unfair Means Case, for which the necessary action
will be taken. Possession and use of material for the purpose of the Entrance Test also
amounts to use of Unfair Means.
15. Unmarked Questions will not be evaluated. Indicating any other mark or symbol or word
on the OMR Response Sheets will result in disqualification.
16. The candidates may do their rough work, if any, on the space provided at the end of
Question Booklet itself and not on the OMR Response Sheet. No additional sheets will be
supplied for rough work.
17. All disputes related to AILET 2025 shall be subjected to the jurisdiction of Delhi Courts
only.
