Participants in the Solo Dance category will have the opportunity to mesmerize the audience with their
chosen dance form, whether classical or western.
a. For the Classical category, participants may choose any Indian classical dance form, such as Kathak,
Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Manipuri, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, or Sattriya.
b. For the Western category, participants can explore genres like Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, or
Salsa.
Performance Time:
● Each participant will be allotted 4 minutes to perform.
Judgment Criteria:
● Performances will be evaluated based on Taal (Timing), Technique, Rhythm, Abhinaya
(Expression), Attire, Footwork, and Overall Presentation.
Additional Notes:
● Use of props is optional but encouraged to enhance storytelling.
● Participants must ensure their attire aligns with the chosen dance style.
