strengthening foundational comprehension through native languages.

3. Digital Integration in Education

NEP advocates the creation of a national body dedicated to digital content curation, making
learning resources widely accessible. Emphasis is laid on integrating technology into education

4. Teacher Development

7. Equitable Access and Reducing Dropouts

The NEP targets reducing dropout rates, especially among marginalized communities, by offering
scholarships, incentives, and structured support systems. The overarching goal is to make quality
education universally accessible.

8. Holistic Higher Education

The policy aims to enhance the quality of higher education institutions, promoting
multidisciplinary learning, vocational training, and research. This includes a restructuring
initiative to merge smaller colleges into universities to optimize governance and academic
output.

9. Mental Health and Well-Being Support

Acknowledging the mental health challenges of students, NEP integrates counselling services
within schools. Teachers will be trained to recognize and address emotional well-being, ensuring
a nurturing learning environment.

10. Long-Term Vision

A review of the policy’s implementation will be conducted by 2030 to ensure that the NEP
remains aligned with the evolving educational landscape, striving to prepare students for global
success.
