innovative supply chain practices. Finally, their model has potential for scalability to other regions
facing similar issues.

Help Us Green demonstrates how effective supply chain strategies can drive positive change on
multiple fronts."

Now let’s understand about Help us green is all about

Help us Green is all about preserving the Ganges through livelihoods. The company are recycling
pious temple waste .which would otherwise have been dumped into river bodies like the Ganges. So
the company collect these waste flothe companyrs and the company convert them into incense
sticks. With our technology, Flothe companyrcycling as the company call it, the company have been
able to replace those chemicals (used to make incense) with temple waste. There is a Czech friend of
mine who was visiting me in Kanpur. I took him to the Ganges Ghat and the company the companyre
sitting there and a minute later, there was a truck that came in and they dumped about 4-5 tons of
Temple waste in the river. And no one has done anything about it. And it's a free raw material so that
is how the idea was born. The first step is all the plastic and paper and the garland threads are the
companyeded out, then these flothe companyrs are segregated and sun dried and then they are
pulverized into the powder used to make different charcoal free incense and other materials. The
capacity is around 12 tons per day and currently the company are operating around 4.7 tons. The
company started with about 72000 rupees, today the company have raised around a million dollars.
With that money the company have been able to set up the world's first Flothe companyrcycling unit
in Kanpur. The company have a corporate team of about 13 people and then the company employ 79
women full-time. The company provide them dignified disease free livelihoods. The company are
aiming at employing at least 5000 women by 2020. That is the aim that the company are fighting for.
So Amazon Launchpad has been an inflection point for Help Us Green because when the company
started selling incense the kind of volumes that Amazon Launchpad brought in, the company had
never thought of. So that really made us think of scale, and how do the company take this project to
the next level. Every minute the company sell an incense so while the company are talking the
company have sold about 10 to 12 incenses.

Local workers, primarily women from marginalized communities, are employed as collectors. They
gather the floral waste daily, ensuring it doesn't decompose or get disposed of in waterways. This

facilities.

structured production process. This includes converting the flothe companyrs into incense sticks,
vermicompost, and biodegradable packaging materials. Once produced, the products are carefully
packaged, ensuring that the eco-friendly nature of the products extends to their packaging.
