Replication of SAP ECC EHP System Table MAKT to SAP SLT and DataSphere

This document provides an overview of the replication of the MAKT table from the SAP ECC (ERP Central
Component) system with an enhancement package (EHP) to SAP SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) and
subsequently to SAP DataSphere for reporting and analytics purposes. MAKT table in SAP ECC holds
material descriptions in multiple languages, playing a key role in managing globalized data for materials
across different languages and locales. Accurate replication of this table is critical for ensuring that material
descriptions remain consistent and up-to-date across various systems, including reporting and data analytics
platforms like DataSphere.

SAP SLT system acts as the central tool for real-time data replication. It transforms and maps data from the
source ECC system to the target environment. SLT ensures that any changes to the MAKT table, such as
updates or new entries, are synchronized in real time with SAP DataSphere. This enables up-to-date, real-time
analytics and reporting on material master data within the SAP DataSphere environment.

By replicating the MAKT table, users can leverage SAP DataSphere to perform complex queries and analyses
