Answer – Lencho was a hard working farmer, an ox of a man. A man with minimal
resources, he earned his living by cultivating his fields. He had immense faith in
God. He thought that God always helped those who had a good conscience. He
therefore sought to God for help when he and his family reached the point of
hunger and he had lost all hope. Even the postmaster was struck by his strong
religious convictions and decided to help out. Although he was a farmer, Lencho had
enough education to compose a letter. He demonstrates his purity by making an
effort to communicate with God directly.
He had a firm belief in God, but he had a tendency to doubt people’s intentions. He
never tried to find out who had sent him those 70 pesos to help him. It is rather
ironic that he humiliated his helpers by calling them “a bunch of crooks.”

leadership. Thanks to his fortitude, he could endure 27 years behind bars. He was a

his community, and his country. It is the triumph over fear, not the absence of
dread. He thinks that liberty cannot be divided. Any chains placed on one of his
people was applied to the entire group. As he matured, he began to realize that
equality and respect for all are parts of what freedom means. He believes that
oppressor is a victim of prejudice, bigotry and hatred. Their humanity is stolen from

four years old. Although Anne had numerous friends, she didn’t have a single one
she could confide in. She needed a true friend with whom she could share her inner
feelings and open up her heart. As a result, she made Kitty, her diary, her friend and
gave way to all of her emotions by writing in it. Her arithmetic teacher frequently
punished her because she was very talkative. She was so funny. She could create a
humorous defense for every issue. She persuaded her teacher with her arguments,
and in the end, he accepted the joke and stopped punishing her. She was intelligent
and innovative in her arguments.
Mr. Keesing was a Maths teacher at Anne’s school. By nature, he was very strict.

failed to stop Anne’s habit of talking constantly in class. One day he asked Anne to
write an essay on a Chatterbox with the intention to make mockery of her. She
wrote the essay in the form of a story in verse with convincing arguments to prove
the necessity of talking. Thankfully, Mr. Keesing understood the humour.
Subsequently, he gave her more assignments to stop her habit of talking in the
