Introduction

Brief Overview of the Project:


 The project involves creating our own music video for the song "Lando" by Francis M
and Gloc-9. This video aims to raise public awareness about the effects of drugs,
emphasizing how illicit substances can harm a person's well-being. At the same time, it
serves as an inspiration for those who have overcome addiction, evoking nostalgia and
reminding them of their journey. Through this music, we want to convey that change is
possible and that there is hope for a brighter future.

Purpose of the Reflection:


 This reflection paper aims to help us analyze the work we did and gain a deeper
understanding of the significance of our music video for our nation. By reflecting on our
creative process and the messages we conveyed, we hope to better empathize with
those who are victims of drug abuse. This insight allows us to appreciate the impact of
our project and fosters a greater sense of responsibility in addressing the challenges
faced by individuals affected by drugs.

1. Initial Thoughts and Expectation


a. Personal Expectations:
 Initially, I thought that creating this music video would be a quick and easy
task. I imagined we would simply gather our team, shoot a few scenes, and
wrap it up in no time. However, as we began the process, I quickly realized
how strenuous and time-consuming it actually was. The challenges we faced
made me appreciate the complexity of video production and the dedication
needed to convey our message effectively.

b. Student Reactions
 As a student, working on this music video deeply saddened me as I gained a
clearer understanding of how prohibited drugs can ruin the lives of people
who simply want to live decently. Watching the stories unfold through our
footage made me acutely aware of the struggles faced by individuals and
families affected by addiction. It was heartbreaking to realize that many
people, driven by desperation or circumstance, fall into the trap of drug
abuse, often losing sight of their dreams and aspirations.
2. Process and Experience
a. Project Execution
 While executing this project, I felt incredibly lucky to have access to all the
equipment we needed to shoot the video in the best possible way. Having a
quality camera Additionally, I am truly grateful to be part of a group with such
dedicated and creative individuals. Working alongside my teammates not
only made the process enjoyable but also fostered a collaborative spirit that
enriched our project.

b. Challenges and Solutions:


 One of the main challenges we faced was getting to the venue on time. It was
tough to coordinate everyone's schedules, which made it hard to start our
shoots as planned. However, we solved this by communicating openly and
respecting each other's time. We talked about our commitments and agreed
on a schedule that worked for everyone. This helped us be more punctual
and made our shooting days much smoother. It taught us how important
teamwork and communication are in overcoming challenges.

3. Impact and Effectiveness


a. Effectiveness of the Project
 I feel that the projection of our music video was effective because it conveyed
the song's message powerfully. Through the visuals, we were able to
showcase the pain experienced by the characters and their journey toward
redemption. This emotional connection reinforced the song's themes,
highlighting the impact of drug abuse and the possibility of recovery. Overall, I
believe our video successfully captured the essence of the song and delivered
a meaningful message to viewers.

 When our classmates watched the video, their reactions were incredibly
positive. They really liked it and engaged with the story we portrayed. Many
expressed that they understood the meaning we wanted to convey about the
struggles of addiction and the hope for redemption. It was rewarding to see
them connect with the characters and the emotions behind the message.
