Introduction
This is the user's manual of the MECALUX Automation Dashboard application.
This application is used to consult and manage the information related to the
failures of the machines in the warehouse when the Transport Management
System (TMS) has been developed by MECALUX. It provides complete
traceability of the status and problems of the machines in automatic
warehouses.
Common action buttons in MAP applications, such as audit, print list, export list,
etc. are also described in that user manual.

Chapter 1 Faults
This menu entry gathers the following screens:
• Faults.
• Faults definition
• Machines.
• Zones.
• Availability.
3
1.1 Faults
From the "Faults" screen of the web interface, it obtains global and filtered
information, by means of reports, of the active and past faults (data history) in
the machines of the warehouse.
In order for the information shown to include past failures, select the
"Historical" field in the upper left corner of the list of records.
The way to access this screen is by clicking on "Faults > Faults" in the
navigation menu.
With the "Historical" field selected, the following actions are available:
This functionality is to set that a fault will not affect the availability of the
warehouse. To activate it, select the fault in the list and press the button.
This functionality is to set that a fault will affect the availability of the
warehouse. To activate it, select the fault in the list and press the button.
4
1.2 Faults definition
The "Faults definition" screen displays all possible faults in the machines in
the warehouse. You can view the reason for the fault ("Description" field) and
the solution ("Suggestion" field).
The way to access this screen is by clicking on "Faults > Faults definition" in
the navigation menu.
7
1.3 Machines
On the "Machines" screen you create a record of the machines in your
warehouse.
You can register the machines manually from this screen. However, the machine
list is also created automatically when a fault is reported from the transport
management system.
The way to access this screen is by clicking on "Faults > Machines" in the
navigation menu.
1.3.1 Data
Both creating and editing machines are done by pressing the corresponding
action buttons on the action bar. Note that to edit and delete a machine you
have to select it previously from the available records in the list. In both cases,
Automation Dashboard shows the data editing screen.
Press the button to to import an Excel sheet with the defined machines
and their associated weight. In this way, you can avoid defining it manually in
Easy WMS.
This is the absolute weight with respect to the warehouse and relative to
functional areas.
8
1.3.2.2 Export weights
machine weight data at the warehouse level and at the level of the different
functional areas.
9
1.4 Zones
On the "Zones" screen you create a zone register in your warehouse. These
zones are functional groups of machines that, due to the needs of the production
process of the warehouse, share some common feature or functionality.
The way to access this screen is by clicking on "Actions > Zones" in the
navigation menu.
1.4.1 Data
Both creating and editing zones are done by pressing the corresponding action
buttons on the action bar. Note that to edit and delete a zone you must first
select it from the records available in the list. In both cases, Automation
Dashboard shows the data editing screen.

1.5 Availability
The "Availability" screen provides data on the availability of the whole
warehouse.
The way to access this option is through "Faults > Availability" in the
navigation menu.
This screen provides warehouse availability values for each day and time.
• Faults ranking.
• Availability.
This report provides a list of the most frequent faults in the warehouse,
including the total number of occurrences in the indicated period.
To obtain this report, please indicate a "Start day" and an "End day".
• If you do not select it, only faults marked with "Affects availability"
will be taken into account. See “Affect availability” on page 4.
1.5.1.1.2 Availability
To obtain this report, please indicate a "Start day" and an "End day".
11
• Average global availability in the evaluated period.
• Availability by zone.
• Availability.
To obtain this report, please select the "Zone" from which you want to obtain
the information and indicate a "Start day" and an "End day".
1.5.1.2.2 Availability
To obtain this report, please indicate a "Start day" and an "End day".
This report provides a table with the average daily availability for all defined
zones in the warehouse. Thus, it has an overview of the evolution of all the
zones in the evaluated period.
• Faults ranking.
• Availability.
12
• Unavailability per machine.
This report provides a list of the most frequent faults in the selected machine,
including the total number of occurrences in the indicated period.
To obtain this report, please select the "Machine" from which you want to
obtain the information and indicate a "Start day" and an "End day".
The "Include faults which do not affect availability" field is available. See
“Faults ranking” on page 11.
1.5.1.3.2 Unavailability
To obtain this report, please indicate a "Start day" and an "End day".
This report provides a table with the average daily availability for all machines
defined in the warehouse. Thus, it has an overview of the evolution of all
machines in the evaluated period.
To obtain this report, please select the "Machine" from which you want to
obtain the information and indicate a "Start day" and an "End day".

Chapter 2 Actions
This menu entry gathers the following screens:
• Actions definition.
• Actions.
12
2.1 Actions
From the "Actions" screen, you obtain global and filtered information, by
means of reports, of the actions carried out on the machines in the warehouse
that the transport control system communicates.
The way to access this screen is by clicking on "Actions > Zones" in the
navigation menu.

Chapter 3 WCS
15
3.1 Transports (Archive)
From this screen you can access the information of the tasks executed by the
machines in your warehouse when they are controlled by a Transport Magement
System (TMS) developed by MECALUX, but the execution of tasks is not
managed by Easy WMS, but by an external Warehouse Management System
(WMS).
In this case, MECALUX's Easy WCS application translates the orders between the
TMS and the WMS through the exchange of records in tables of a common
database (MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle).
