Task 8. List three things about your speaking that you would like to improve
and how to improve on them.

 The three things that I would like to improve about my speaking skills are
the proper use of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. I can improve
them by taking down notes of words I had trouble pronouncing or the
sentences that sounded awkward out loud. And of course by having a
conversation with someone.

Task 9. Reflect on the following questions and share your thoughts with your
classmates.
1. From this lesson, I learned to:
a. do the following in spoken English:
 Since our major is English we (classmates) are encourage to use the
second language in terms of communicating others specially inside the
classroom. When we have a casual talk we tend to used our native
language.
b. use the following useful expressions that can help me speak more
effectively:
 When having a conversation with my classmates we use casual words
that would definitely help us to understand each other and have an
effective communication.
2. This is how I feel about my learning:
a. I am confident that I can speak English effectively.
b. I am not very confident about my speaking skill.
c. I am still unsure about what I have to say and do in speaking situations.
 I am not very confident about my speaking skill, because sometimes I
have difficulties in constructing a phrase/sentences. I’m not really sure if
the construction of my grammar and the words or terms I used was
right, that’s why I want to enhance my ability to speak English so that I
can communicate others using this language effectively.
3. As a future teacher, I need to do the following to be able to teach
speaking effectively.
 As a future teacher, I will encourage my students to enhance their
speaking skills in order for them to speak confidently and effectively.

Task 10. Further opportunity

relevant?

relevant towards the students is that I will conduct an assessment that
would determine if they really have a deeper understanding about it.

make sure that they will participate.
