    Mallapuram District- Clarification on Road Cutting request by KSEB and Transfer of
    DLP responsibilty-reg

    This is in reference to the road cutting work submitted by KSEB for the stretch from
    Areacode-Vazhakkad Junction to Hotel Annus, Thekinchuvadu Bus Stop on the road
    Eranhimavu to Edavanna section of SH-34 (Km 51/200 to Km 69/380, Length 18.18 km) in
    Malappuram District. This project is now under DLP period of KSTP contractor (Sree
    Dhanya constructions Pvt Ltd) from 06.01.2023. According to Reference cited 2, it is stated
    that if road cutting is carried out on a road under the Defect Liability Period (DLP) of a PWD
    contractor, the DLP responsibility for the cutting length will be transferred to the KWA
    contractor for the entire width of the road.

    We request confirmation on whether this order is applicable to KSEB road cutting. Hence we
    request you to provide necessary clarification in this regards.
