I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standard The learners demonstrate an understanding of the Electronic structure of matter (The
Flame Test)
B. Performance The learners should be able to explain the relationship between the colors observed

c. Identify the flame test to identify specific metal ions present in a sample based
on the characteristic color of the flame produced.
