Designing a traditional showcase for sarees focuses on creating an

experience that highlights the rich cultural heritage of saree weaving,
especially for a space dedicated to showcasing Kanchipuram silk sarees

2 . INTRODUCTION

● This introduction frames the project as a dedicated space for

showcasing sarees, while focusing on design elements that
enhance both the aesthetic and educational value of the space..
● The Saree Showcase is a dedicated space designed to highlight
the exquisite craftsmanship of Kanchipuram silk sarees, an iconic
representation of India's textile heritage.
● Unlike conventional retail spaces, this showcase will focus on
creating a design that amplifies the saree's cultural and artisanal
significance.

only displays the intricate beauty of Kanchipuram silk sarees but also
educates visitors about the rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship
involved in their creation. By presenting the sarees in an environment
that respects their traditional artistry while embracing modern display
techniques, the project seeks to elevate the appreciation for this
centuries-old craft.

5 . OBJECTIVES

history of the sarees. This will encourage customers to engage
with the products, learn about their origins, and build an emotional
connection with them.

space, such as informative displays and multimedia presentations
that tell the story of the sarees—its history, significance, and the
weaving process

3
● Color palette inspired from artisans woven saree colors and golden
zari typically done in silk saree
● I would like to implement the temple architecture and its elements
in the space though it reflects the traditional influence for the
project
● Incorporating eco friendly and sustainable materials. Enhancing
the story telling through the visual elements

LIMITATIONS

● Balancing the aesthetic with functionality such as seating capacity

, display centers , etc
● Space constraints , technical constraints , contextual consideration
is must for planing ,creative problem solving technique
● Ramp walk , photo shoot , display comes under the limitations.

TOPIC 2

1 . TITLE OF THE PROJECT

CONTENT CREATOR STUDIO

"Designing a Dynamic Content Creator Studio: Enhancing Creativity,

Productivity, and Collaboration"

2. INTRODUCTION

● In the age of digital media, content creation has become a pivotal

aspect of culture, shaping entertainment, education, and social
discourse. Platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and podcasts
empower individuals to express themselves, share knowledge, and
build communities, making the role of content creators more
influential than ever.

3 . BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT

● Content creation has evolved from a hobby to a profession, driven

by platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and podcasts. Creators are
now shaping digital culture, leading to increased demand for
specialized spaces that foster creativity and productivity.
● As content creation becomes more professionalized, creators need
spaces equipped for filming, editing, and collaboration. These
spaces must integrate technology with a creative environment to
enhance output quality.
● Content creators often work solo or in teams, requiring spaces that
are adaptable. Studios need to accommodate various activities,
such as recording, editing, and brainstorming.

4 . AIM

9
The aim of this project is to design a functional and innovative content
creator studio that addresses the diverse needs of modern digital
creators. This space should foster creativity, productivity, and
collaboration while incorporating cutting-edge technology and adaptable
design elements.

5 . OBJECTIVES

● To create a studio that supports a wide range of content creation

activities, from video production and audio recording to editing and
collaborative work.
● To integrate state-of-the-art tools such as professional-grade
cameras, microphones, editing software, and lighting systems,
ensuring the studio meets the technical demands of content
creators and enhances their production quality.
● To ensure that the space is comfortable for long working hours by
incorporating ergonomic furniture and well-thought-out layouts that
prioritize user comfort, mental well-being, and productivity.

6 . SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

SCOPE

● The scope includes designing a content creator studio that caters

to a range of creators, from video producers and podcasters to
artists and graphic designers.
● The project will address the inclusion of high-tech tools and
equipment, such as cameras, soundproof recording areas,
professional-grade microphones, lighting setups, and editing
stations.
● The layout will emphasize open-plan areas for group work and
quiet zones for solo creators.

10
LIMITATIONS

● The design may be constrained by the available space for the

studio. In real-world scenarios, spaces may have limitations in
terms of size, shape, and layout, which could affect the ability to
create multiple distinct zones or feature advanced technical
setups.
● The studio design may need to balance between current
technological needs and future-proofing, which may not always be
fully achievable..
● While sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems are a
priority, incorporating them into the design may limit certain
aesthetic or functional elements.

7 . METHODOLOGY

11
8 . PROBLEM STATEMENT

Many content creators struggle to find well-designed spaces that cater to

both their creative and technical needs. Existing studio spaces often lack
the necessary flexibility, high-quality equipment, and inspiring
environments that optimize the creation process.

TOPIC 3

1 . TITLE OF THE PROJECT

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CENTER

2 . INTRODUCTION

Women empowerment is a global imperative that involves providing

opportunities, resources, and platforms for women to achieve personal,
social, and economic independence. The goal is to develop a typology

lack of access to education, and economic opportunities.
● In many communities, cultural and systemic barriers continue to
hinder women's progress.
● The need for empowerment centers is particularly pressing in
regions where gender disparities are entrenched. These hubs
often integrate spaces for vocational training, entrepreneurship,
mental health support, and cultural activities, aiming to address the
multifaceted needs of women. By offering safe and inspiring
environments, they provide a platform for women to reclaim their
voices, share their stories, and build futures of autonomy and
success.

storytelling spaces, and art studios, where women can share their
stories and experiences..

6 . SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

SCOPE

● The design will ensure that spaces are flexible, adaptive, and cater
to various activities, including workshops, networking, and
emotional support.
● The space will cater to women of different age groups,
backgrounds, and needs, ensuring inclusivity through cultural
sensitivity in design choices, such as varied seating arrangements,
quiet zones, and multi-purpose areas.
● indoor plants, natural textures, and large windows , will be
included to enhance the mental and emotional well-being of users

LIMITATIONS

● The space must be adaptable to varying cultural contexts; design

elements must be chosen carefully to avoid alienation or
misrepresentation.

16
● Limited space may result in smaller rooms or multifunctional areas,
making it challenging to provide a distinct, dedicated space for
each activity.
● Technological Infrastructure Limitations. Depending on the region's
technological infrastructure, the design may face challenges in
providing advanced technological features

7 . METHODOLOGY

17
