Portfolio
ER3801
1
• The module allows each student to conduct a
mechatronic project.
• Projects should incorporate mechanical design,
electrical design, and control scheme elements.
• Students are expected to perform necessary
calculations for component sizing and analysis.
Introduction • Practical implementation of the project is strongly
encouraged.
• The assessment is designed to evaluate your ability to
apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering
challenges.
2
• Develop a mechatronic project
• Conduct a comprehensive portfolio documenting your
Submissions work (in 4000 words)
3
Marking
• Portfolio (100%)
Your portfolio will be assessed based on the following criteria:
• Technical accuracy and appropriateness of designs (25%)
• Creativity and innovation in problem-solving (25%)
• Quality and depth of research (20%)
• Quality of implementation and practical work (20%)
• Presentation and structure of the portfolio (10%)
