∠BAD + ∠DAC = ∠EAC + ∠DAC
∠BAC = ∠DAE
In ΔBAC and ΔDAE,
AB = AD (Given)
∠BAC = ∠DAE (Proved above)
AC = AE (Given)
∴ ΔBAC ≅ ΔDAE (By SAS congruence rule)
∴ BC = DE (By CPCT)

Given;

AB = PQ,

BC = QR and

AM = PN

(i) 1/2 BC = BM and 1/2QR = QN (Since AM and PN are medians)

Also, BC = QR

So, 1/2 BC = 1/2QR

⇒ BM = QN

In ΔABM and ΔPQN,

AM = PN and AB = PQ (Given)

BM = QN (Already proved)

∴ ΔABM ≅ ΔPQN by SSS congruency.

(ii) In ΔABC and ΔPQR,

AB = PQ and BC = QR (Given)

∠ABC = ∠PQR (by CPCT)

So, ΔABC ≅ ΔPQR by SAS congruency.

33)
A)

We have2x−7 × 5x−4 = 1250

⇒2x−7 × 5x−4 = 2× 5 × 5 × 5 × 5
⇒2x−7 × 5x−4 = 21× 54
Equating the powers of 2 and 5 from both sides, we have
⇒ x – 7 = 1 and x – 4 = 4
⇒ x = 8 and x = 8
Hence, x = 8 is the required value.

Given> AB and CD lines intersect each othet at O.
To prove: i) ∠AOC=∠BOD
ii) ∠AOD=∠BOC
Proof:-

i) Ray OA stands on line CD.
∴ ∠AOC+∠AOD=180∘ [linear pair axiom]…(i)
Ray OD stands on line AB.
∴ ∠AOD+∠BOD=180∘ [linear pair exiom]…(ii)

From the equations (i) and (ii),

⇒ ∠AOC+∠AOD=∠AOD+∠BOD
∠AOC=∠BOD
(ii) Ray OD stands on line AB.
∴ ∠AOD+∠BOD=180∘ [linear pair axiom]…(iii)
Ray OB stands on line CD.
∴ ∠DOB+∠BOC=180∘ …(iv)
From equations (iii) and (iv)
⇒ ∠AOD+∠BOD=∠DOB+∠BOC
∠AOD=∠BOC
Hence proved.
