Nature cleverly hides these lessons in its bounty and it is upon us to learn these lessons to lead a
better life.

Section III: Poetry

A2] The poet says that he will never again compose humorous poems because the poet witnessed
how his poem had landed his servant in a helpless situation for ten days and nights at a
stretch. Beginning with just a grin, the servant kept laughing and went into a fit. Realising that
all this happened because of the humour in the poem, the poet decided never to compose such
poems in the future.

the following points to be noted. Minutely check the format, subject, reference, salutation,
body, signature line, enclosure etc.
A.6.A) Information Transfer:
A1) Verbal to Non-verbal : Title, covering all points, appropriate graphic, layout, overall
presentation.
ORA2) Non-verbal to Verbal: Title, use of given points, grammar, appropriate language and
conclusion.
B) B1) View-Counterview: Proper beginning and conclusion, appropriate vocabulary and grammar,
expressing opinion in good and lucid language with logical order.
OR B2) Speech: Speech should be interesting, language should be simple, use of anecdotes,
quotations should be given weightage.
Section VI: creative writing
A.7.A)A1) Proverb Expansion: Appropriate content, originality, grammatical accuracy, good
conclusion with proper phrases will get maximum credit but avoid giving full credit.
ORA2) News Report: Headline, dateline, introduction/lead paragraph, short continuing
passage/story in detail etc.
B)B1 or B2. Developing a story/Narrating an experience: Title and proper beginning, elaboration of
the idea/subject/theme, use of appropriate grammar and vocabulary, proper conclusion
and layout.

