Research 1
Definition :-
Research is a systematic process of inquiry aimed at discovering,
analyzing, or interpreting new knowledge. It involves the
collection, organization, and analysis of information to solve
problems, answer questions, or generate new insights. Research
can be conducted in various fields—like science, social science,
humanities, and business—and follows a structured approach to
ensure valid and reliable findings. Reference Kothari, C.R. (2004). Research Methodology:

Nature :-
1. Systematic and Organized: Research follows a
predefined method, often including steps like problem
identification, literature review, data collection, analysis, and
conclusion.
2. Objective and Logical: It seeks to minimize biases,
following logical reasoning to ensure the conclusions align with
the data.
3. Empirical: Research often relies on observations,
measurements, or experimentation to validate findings.
4. Replicable: The process and results should be transparent so
others can reproduce or verify the study.
5. Innovative: Research often leads to new knowledge, theories,
or improvements in existing practices.

6. Ethical: It is governed by ethical principles, including honesty,
integrity, and respect for participants.
Characteristics Of Research :-
1. Clearly Defined Purpose: Research begins with a specific
problem or question that guides the investigation.
2
8. Documentation and Reporting: Research must be
properly documented, shared, and reviewed by others to
contribute to the broader knowledge base.
