What is Physical Fitness test?


-Physical fitness test may include a repetition maximum of strength-based exercises, like squats or bench
presses, to assess muscular strength.
-Physical fitness refers to the ability of your body systems to work together efficiently to allow you to be
healthy and perform activities of daily living. Being efficient means doing daily activities with the least
effort possible
Test II. Identify the following Health-Related Fitness Components to given situations.
Flexibility 1. The forte of Ms. Lorenzana is ballet and even in her old age, she’s able to perform
flawlessly. Other than ballet she’s also skilled in gymnastics.
Muscular Strength 2. Often times, our mother would ask us to pail some water at a jetmatic or faucet
near
our house since the water connection is disrupted. We would hurry because the pail
full of water is heavy, or rest even before we reach the house.
Body Composition 3. When puberty hits, Cardo notices that his body is slowly changing and developing.
He noticed that with his developing body he is able to play more sports than he actually ever did.
Muscular Endurance 4. Alma is a former athlete, ever since she retired, she never stops her training and
even joined hard core contests like marathon and triathlon and often times won.
Cardiorespiratory Endurance 5. Martha Cecilia is a known romance writer, despite her busy schedule
she never forgets to engage in a physical activity. Since her schedule is tight, she decided to do
an activity that allows her to exercise all her body parts which opted to swimming.

1. In your own words, explain how important physical activities and exercises to every person’s
Life. Consider the physical, mental, emotional and social health.
We all know that physical activities and exercises are crucial to each and everyone’s health.
However, how is this two important to every person’s life? What could be the benefits we can get doing
this activities considering our physical, mental and social health of a person?
Physical fitness involves the performance of the heart and lungs, and the muscles of the body
while exercise involves engaging in physical activity and increasing the heart rate beyond resting levels.
It is an important part of preserving physical and mental health. Just for example, during this pandemic
We all need to engage to this activity. It help reduce the use of alcohol and other substances. In
Addition participating to this activity boost our immune system. Also helps people lose weight and
lower the risk of some diseases. If we can do this, of course that we are the ones who will benefited by
this. Considering our health, this activity improves our mental health by reducing anxiety, depression
moreover, negative emotions, as well as improving self-esteem and cognitive function. In addition, that
exercise can relieve symptoms such as low self-esteem and social isolation.
Engaging with this activities will help us especially in our health. “Health is wealth”.

2. What do you think will happen if you don’t follow the do’s and don’ts of exercises?

-Not considering the effects of what you are doing can affect yourself either good or bad.
Following instructions or the do’s and don’ts is just that simple. Exercise involves activities wherein there
is a tendency we can get hurt if we don’t follow the rules. We know that before doing such activities like
this the exercise we are instructed what we are going to do by our instructor. Just like if you do it wrong,
you may get hurt. Also in fitness, newbies tend to make mistakes when they begin exercising regularly. This
result to your muscles weaken and get bulk. Being responsible doing this, we cannot be hurt. The important
part doing some activities is that Follow the rules and do’s and don’ts. Moreover take at your own risk.

3. What is the difference between physical activity and exercise? Cite situation or example.
Physical activity is any movement performed by muscles that require energy. In other words, it
is any exercise that a person does. Exercise is a planned, organized, repetitive, and
purposeful exercise. Exercise is also aimed at improving or maintaining physical health.
Example for exercise is pushups, squats, dumbbell rows, side planks ,etc. While in physical
activity, here are 5 examples includes walking, doing household chores, taking the stairs instead the
elevator, playing at the park and gardening.
Indeed that it feels good doing this activities. We must do it in order to have a good health.
