Title Assistant Manager Process Engineer – Welding
Direct Supervisor Manager
Organisation function Operation
 Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing

manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and
developing suitable actions.
 Design and implement process optimisation plan to enhance
efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
 Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance
teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures
(SOPs) and work instructions.
 Monitor and analyse process performance metrics, such as cycle
time, yield and scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or
exceed targets.
 Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to
resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment
effectiveness (OEE).
Responsibilities  Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis,
corrective actions and preventive measures.
 Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth
integration of New Products or Process, equipments.
 On time launch of New products and proto parts.
 Coordinate and Owning the responsibilities of Change
management in terms of product & process as well.
 Improving Line flexibility and Process optimisation through Lean
practices.
 Conducting process audit w.r.to Standards and developing actions
to arrest the Gap.
 Maintaining Process related documents up to date and updating
the ECNs history suitably.
 Accountable for delivering New product implementation as per

APQP Standards.
 Accountable for implementing Preventive measures to increase
Accountabilities the process robustness and to achieve Customer delight.
 Introducing trackers to measure the Line performance and
identifying CI projects.

Minimum qualification  Bachelor’s Degree either in mechanical engineering
requirements to manage this  8+ years of experience in Manufacturing
job  Substantial experience in working effectively in complex Matrix
organizations.
 Exposure in Sheet metal fabrication , Process design & Lean practices.
 Hands on experience in new product development , Fixture correction
and Robo Programming.
 Ability to manage Projects.
 Exposure to System like TS16949, ISO14001 & ISO45001

 Must have Knowledge of AutoCAD & Solid works
 Knowledge in Process designing & developing process related
Standrards.
 Knowledge in Cost tracking & Data Management.
