I am actively involved in the field of Microbiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Immuno-
Haematology, Clinical Pathology, Immunohematology, Serology and Blood Collection.

Position: Laboratory Technologist


Duties & responsibilities:
• Performed comprehensive laboratory testing in the areas of chemistry, haematology,
coagulation, and urinalysis.
• Performed quality control testing and instrument maintenance to ensure accuracy of results.
• Monitored and maintained laboratory reagents, supplies, and equipment.
• Collaborated with other clinical laboratory scientists in the development, validation, and
implementation of laboratory testing assays.
• Assisted with the training and supervision of laboratory personnel.

I know to perform the Serological techniques like Dengue serology, Chikungunya Serology,
Rheumatoid Factor (RA), Anti-Streptolysin-O (ASO) and C – Reactive Protein (CRP).

In the department of Biochemistry,


I am performing all kind of routine chemistry procedures as electrolytes, lipid profile, liver and
kidney function test, stone analysis, hormones and drugs.
& special tests in blood, Serum, Plasma, Body fluids and urine samples through, Semi
automated, Fully automated Machines and Manually. I have the knowledge and skills about the
preparation of the reagents and calibration of the machines.
In the department of Haematology,
Performs routine blood counting using manual and automated machines, Coagulation profiles
through automated machines and manually. Prothrombin time, partial thromboplastin time,
bleeding time and clotting time, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, reticulocyte count, identification
of malarial parasites.

WORKING EXPERINECE
I am working in the Apollo Hospital, #134, Mint Street, Sow carpet, India.as the lab
technologist in the department of Lab service from 24/11/2008 to 31/03/2011. I have work experience
in the departments of Biochemistry, Hematology, and Clinical Pathology, Serology, Blood banking.

Position: Laboratory Technologist

Duties & responsibilities:

 I am well experienced to collect (Phlebotomy) the blood samples for the adult and child. I have the
good knowledge about the different types of vacationer and different types of anticoagulants used for
specific test.
 Developed and maintained quality assurance records and documentation.
 Monitored the performance of all equipment in the lab.
 Trained new staff on laboratory procedures and techniques.
 Performed routine and emergency maintenance of laboratory equipment.
 Participated in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and
protocols.

IMMUNOLOGY AND SEROLOGY

• Serological tests such as VDRL, RPR, Widal and Weil-Felix test, Chlamydia Antigen test, C-
Reactive protein, Anti-Streptolysin-O, Cryptococcal Antigen Latex Agglutination System,
PHADEBACT, Cold Agglutinins, Helicobacter pylori IgG and IgM, Typhidot, Dengue Duo IgG
and IgM, Seramoeba and TPHA.

HEMATOLOGY
• Performs routine blood counting using manual and automated machines, Prothrombin time,
partial thromboplastin time, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, reticulocyte count, coagulation
factor test and identification of malarial parasites.
Perform WBC count, platelets, reticulocyte count, malarial parasites and staining procedures.

Coulter MS4E, Sysmex (KX-21).Cellenium 19, and manually.

analysis and stool examination for detection of ova and parasites

BLOOD BANKING

Accessions and registers requests on patient specimens for tests and products. Performs

blood group and Rh type (ABO/RH) and antibody identification by using reagents, tubes,

centrifuge to read and interpret results and then enter the results into the

computer. Performs all other immunohematology tests as requested according to

standard operating procedure Forward and Reverse Grouping (Slide and Tube

Method), ABO Discrepancies;Rh Factor Discrepancies (Du Testing),Direct Coombs
