• Green leaves
• Water
• Clear plastic bag
• Sunlight

Steps:

1. Choose a healthy green leaf from a plant.


2. Place the leaf in a small amount of water to keep it fresh.
3. Place the leaf in a clear plastic bag.
4. Seal the bag, leaving some air inside.
5. Place the bag in direct sunlight.

7. Look for small bubbles forming inside the bag.
8. The bubbles indicate that the leaf is releasing oxygen, a byproduct of
photosynthesis.
9. Photosynthesis is the process by which plants convert sunlight into energy,

life on Earth.
