For using the system for the first time an applicant needs to register himself once.

Steps for New Registration

Step 1: Click Applicant Registration from the top of the home page.

The New Registration form will appear as below

Registration- Fill all the required details for Applicant Registration i.e., Name,
Email Id, Mobile Number
Number, Password and the Captcha code and click on Submit button.
The Name and Mobile no

The NTPS system provides following options for easily generating a TP or NOC
1. Home Page: The home page of the system
2. Apply for TP/NOC: Provides option to apply for TP/NOCs
3. View Application: Provides

4. Archive: Provides list of TPs/NOC which have been expired.
5. TP Download: Provides
ovides list of TP/NOCs approved and available for download
6. TP Not Recommended:: Provides list

8. Update Profile: Provides option to update the applicant profile.
9. User Manual: Provides a detailed document to operate the system and apply for TPs/NOCs.

2. Apply for TP/NOC:This


This option is used to apply for a New TP/NOC. Click on it and you will
get the following page:

View button; he can also edit the application using Open button
and proceed further with application or delete the application by clicking on Delete button.

To start a fresh application cclick on Add New Application button.. The following form will be

Buttons in the form:
On the top-right side the View Application button allows you to view the application in
PDF format along with all the documents uploaded by the user
user. The uploaded documents are
also available as a part of PDF

view the instructions for filling the application

Instructions to Apply

2.1 Select the Source State


State:Select
Select the state from drop down from where the forest produce is
being transported or TP is being obtained

2.2 Species details:: It is the first segment of the application. The details of forest produce and
species details are required to be entered. The data for species is populated on the basis of
selection of forest produce. Forest produce can be selected multiple times from the combo.
Thee category of the species will be selected single time. Be careful in the selection as the
system will allow selecting the category only once. The list of the selected species will be
displayed under the categories

2.2.1 Select Forest Produce


Produce-Select
Select the type of forest produce being transported i.e., Fuel
Wood, Minor Forest Produce, Round Timber, or Sawn Timber. One NOC or TP can
have multiple forest produce but under same category.

2.2.2 Select Category --Select any one of the category.Only one category can be selected
per application, and once the category is selected it can only be changed before the
selection of species as after that it will be fixed and will not be changed.

Category 1: Select the species under category 1 for NOC Generation.


The NOC is required for those species which are in exempted list and for whom
Transit pass and approval of the higher authority is not required.
Category 2: Select the species under category 2 for TP Generation.
The TP is required for those species which are not in exempted list and for whom
approval of the higher authority is required..

2.2.3. After selecting the Category the user needs to specify the species and other related
details. The details which are required under this section vary,as below, based on the
type of forest produce selected earlier.

2.2.4. Once the species is selected and details are filled, click on add button to add the
details. It will get listed as below. The system allows the user to edit/delete or add
multiple species details.

For Forest Produce– Bamboo


(i) Select Species.
(ii) Enter Girth Class.
(iii) Enter Length.(cm)
(iv) Enter No of Bamboos /Weight (tonnes).
(v) Select Unit.
(vi) Click on "Add" to add the Record

(vii) The records are available in the table for editing or deleting.

2.2.5. Remarks: Enter remark if any (it's not mandatory) and click on Save to save it.

2.3 Produce (Source) Details: In this section the applicant needs to specify the source details
of the forest produce. The source details have been categorized in three part
parts i.e.,
Government Depot, Private Depot, and Private Land. The required details vary, as below,

according to the category of source selected.. This section also captures the Circle,
Division, Range, complete address and Latitude & Longitude (optional).

2.3.1 Details required for source:


2.3.1.1 If Place from where it is obtained is “Government

2.3.2. Range/Division/Circle/Address

Pin Code:: Enter pin code
Alternatively, enter the Range name in the Search Range field and click on Search
button. The Circle

After filling all the details click on Save button.

2.3.3. Latitude / Longitude: Enter Latitude and Longitude (optional) and click on Add
button.

2.4 Destination Details- In this section the applicant needs to specify the details of the
destination by entering details of State, Circle, Division and Range

 Pin Code:: Enter pin code
Alternatively, enter the Range name in the Search Range field and click on Search button. The

Circle, Division and Range details will be automatically filled. After filling all the details click
on Save button.

2.5 Others Details- In this section the applicant needs to upload documents required to apply
for the TP/NOCs. These documents vary according to the category of the source of the
forest produce selected i.e. Govt. Depot, Private Depot or Private Land.

2.6 Vehicle Details– In this section the applicant needs to specify the mode of transportation
and details of transport and the driver, it can be update while downloading the TP/NOC.
i. Mode of transport.

2.7 Route Details– Here the applicant needs to specify the route from source to destination for
transportation of the forest produce.
i. Select the State from drop down list.
ii.Select District from drop down list
iii. Click on ADD button to add multiple Route details i.e. State, District as per the
requirement for the transportation of the forest produce

2.8 Click on "Final


Final Submit
Submit" button for final submission of Application.

If this application is for Category-1 (NOC) then NOC will be generated just after the
submission and will be available for download under TP Download tab.

If this application is for Category-2 (TP) then the application will be submitted to the
department for further processing and approval from the competent authority.

3. View Application-Click
Click on View Application tab from the top bar. The applications which
have been submitted successfully for issuance of Transit Permit
Permit/No
/No Objection Certificate can
be viewed here. Submitted applications can be viewed and downloaded as a PDF file.

4. Archive- Click on Archive tab from the top bar. It contains the list of TPs/NOC
TPs which is
expired.. It gives details of TP/NOC number, Application
pplication ID, Date of Submission, Date of
Download (if
if downloaded), and Date of Expiry.

5. TP Download: It provides the list of all NOCs/TPs which are issued and are available for
download.
i. Click on TP Download Tab, the details of the TP/NO
TP/NOC will be listed down in the
form of table with option to download.
ii. Click on the Download

iii. If the application is for NOC it will be downloaded immediately.
iv. If the application is for TP, it will proceed further to the next step for payment of fee
(if Applicable)
v. If the application is for TP the applicable fee will be visible in the textbox.

6. TP Not Recommended-Applications
Applications which are rejected for issuance of Transit Pass will be
visible in this table. Remarks

7. Send query: This tab will help you to get in touch with the admin if you are facing any issue.

Raise your query using following steps:


 Select application ID
 Select Query type
 Attach file/Screenshot

8. Update Profile- Here the applicant can update his personal details All these fields are
mandatory. Name and Mobile no
no. can’t be changed. The mobile no. is treated as login id for
the system.
The Applicant can update these details at any stage.

9. User Manual: A document that provides detailed instructions to operate the NTPS. Click to
download the document.
10. Change Password: Provides facility to change the existing password.
To change the password
 Enter the login Id
 Enter the old Password
 Provide new Password
 Confirm the Password
 Select the Captcha
 Click on Submit
The new Password will be updated in the system
