User Interface and Software Controller PC not included. Software applications for programming the passport chip, driving the camera for print
alignment or optical character read are not included with the printer. These must be developed either by the end user, the
integrator or Datacard.
Datacard PB500 Integration Toolkit may be purchased to configure the printer, customize printer tray functionality, chip
encoding and camera function and to integrate PB6500 with existing passport data prep solutions.
Alternatively users can develop own interface by using the lower level SDK (printer tray customization only) that is
shipped free of charge. If camera and RFID functionality is also needed, use third party tools.
