2. Use proper PPE (goggles, dust mask, gloves, etc.)


3. Isolate Filter inlet, outlet and by pass valves.
4. Open vent valve to depressurize.
5. Open drain valve to drain oil from inside.
6. Isolate vent valve.
7. Disconnect filter vent line and line to pressure safety valve.
8. Open filter top flange after ensuring there is no pressure and oil inside.
9. Remove filter from centre locking stud.
10. Replace filter cartridge (make sure that the sealing ‘o’ rings are in place)
11. Fix back filter top flange.
12. Connect the vent line and pressure safety valve line.
13. Close drain line valve and blind.
14. Open filter bypass line to pressurize the filter housing.
15. Open vent valve for priming without obstructing the flow and pressure online.
16. Check for leak and line up the filter.
17. Carry out house keeping.
