Very good! Where did Tinikling word came Tinikling is named after the bird,
from? Tikling
How about the equipment they used in
dancing, what do you call it? Bamboo, ma’am

Now, children what is the girl wearing when


she dances tinikling? She is wearing a patadyong,
kimono and panuelo
Very good! How about the boy what does
he wear? He is wearing a barong tagalog

Very good!
B. Establishing a purpose for Children, before we start our new lesson
the lesson today, let us be reminded with the word
DANCE.

Setting of standards
D – o your best (Children reading)
A – sk help when needed
be N – ice to your fellow dancers
C – ooperate with your classmates
E – njoy every activity

Yes, ma’am
Now, children let us all stand up and do our
warm-up exercise. Because today we will
dance the Tinikling. (Children doing the warm-up
exercise)
Warm-up exercises:
1. Head bending
2. Neck twisting
3. Arm stretching
4. Arm circling
5. Trunk bending
6. Hip rotating
7. Half-knee bending
8. Jumping
9. Jogging in place

C. Cross - begin with the right side of
your pole

left foot (out to the right of the
poles), then right foot (in), right
foot (in), left (out to the left of
the poles) cross
D. Turn – this is the same foot pattern
as the cross except you turn your
body on the in steps so that you do
not cross your leg over
o right foot (in), right foot

E. Discussing new concepts I will divide the class into four groups. Each
