The line chart illustrates the selling price of two advanced products, namely

navigation systems and smart phones, between July in 2004 and December in
2006.
Overall, there was a considerable decrease in the pricing of navigation
systems compared to smartphones.
In July-December of 2024, the overall price of navigation devices was higher
than smartphones. The former started at nearly 4000 US dollars while the latter
was sold at over 3000 US dollars. In the next six months, both items were priced
at a low value slipping to $3300 and $2700 (navigation systems and smartphones
respectively).
The pricing for navigation systems continued to drop to about $3000 in the
following half year. Conversely, mobile phones’ prices rose marginally by around
$100USD. In the first half of 2006, the pricing trend changed for both products as
navigation devices saw a rise to $3400USD while phones dipped to $2700USD. By
the end of the year 2006, both items were sold at exactly the same price of
$2700USD.
