REIMAGINING REALITY:
As a studio, we would love to document Bengaluru across various parameters
to help the city find long-term solutions for managing growth. Every problem
has a solution, but meaningful change requires proper engagement with the
government and institutional bodies. Bengaluru has incredibly generous private
individuals willing to support government initiatives, but professionals must be
involved in planning to ensure effective execution. Public infrastructure presents
a tremendous opportunity for placemaking, yet much of it, including metro
stations, has been poorly designed due to a lack of professional engagement.
With better collaboration, these spaces could have become vibrant civic hubs.
At Hundredhands, we are committed to transforming the city and have already
started conducting workshops focused on improving specific junctions, with
plans to expand our efforts in the future.

The world of construction has witnessed a paradigm shift with the rise of Pre-Engineered Buildings
(PEBs), which have redefined engineering, design, and execution. At a recent Everest Connect Event
Panel Discussion in Ahmedabad, experts delved into the nuances of pre-engineered solutions,
emphasizing their engineering-based tonality rather than just material-specific categorization.

3. Material Selection
Welding thick steel plates and elements requires meticulous preparation, skilled execution, and rig-
orous quality control. By adhering to best practices — such as proper fit-up, multi-run welding, pre-
heating, and careful joint design — both welders and structural engineers can ensure the integrity and
longevity of the welded structure.
