Dear Sheikh,

With reference to your application for employment and the subsequent interview you had with us, we are
pleased to appoint you as “Engineer-Civil” in our organization on consolidated cost to the company (CTC) of
504000/-. The management reserves the right to bifurcate the salary by merging or bifurcating any allowances.
The detailed terms and conditions of appointment will be as follows:

Date of Joining: Your date of joining for all official purposes shall be considered the date you actually
commenced employment in the company i.e. 05-Dec-23.

Place of posting / Transfer: Your initial place of work will be in CU, Lucknow. However, your services are
transferable to any other locations in the country within the company or to any of its associates, or sister
concerns, or its subsidiary at any place in India, whether existing today or which may come up in future at
any time at the sole discretion of the Management. On such transfer you will be governed by the rules and
regulations operating in the establishment to which you are posted and has mutually consent for which you
shall have no objection.

Salary Structure / Taxes Etc.: Your salary shall be as per structure mentioned in Salary Annexure, which
is enclosed herewith. Salary and other perquisites/benefits, which have been distributed under the heads
mentioned in the enclosed Annexure, are subject to taxes, as applicable from time to time. The management,
at its sole discretion, may consider either change of heads or redistribute the total emoluments under various
heads. Further, the subject of compensation is confidential in nature and strictly between you and the
Management.

Duties / Job Description: A schedule of your broad duties and responsibilities will be given to you in due
course. However, the company reserves the right to assign you such other duties and responsibilities as may
be considered advisable in the Company’s interests.

Sincerity/ Discipline: you will work under the supervision of such officers as may be decided upon by the
management from time to time. You shall satisfactorily and diligently carry out instructions given to you by
your superior in connection with the work assigned to the best of your knowledge, skill and attitude. Further,
you will strictly adhere to rules of the company pertaining to punctuality.

Communication: Permanent / Correspondence address: Your permanent and correspondence address


mentioned in your CV shall be, henceforth, used for all future correspondence. It shall be your duty to
intimate in writing to the management any change in address. A correspondence sent on address given by you
shall be deemed to be considered as served, whether submitted by you at the time of your appointment or later
on in writing to the management. Further you shall not refuse to accept any communication as offered to you
by personal delivery.

Absenteeism / Loss of job / Automatic Termination / Abandonment: Unauthorized absence / Absence


without intimation would be considered as misconduct. Continuous and unauthorized absence for a period
exceeding Ten days (including overstay on leave / training) would result in you losing your lien on the service
and thereby the management will draw an irresistible presumption that by remaining absent continuously and
unauthorized, you have abandoned your job. In such case your employment shall automatically come to
an end without any notice of termination or notice pay. Habitual absence on more than three occasions can
attract termination of employment.

Leave: Leave shall be allowed to you as per company leave policies. Grant of leave shall depend upon
exigencies of work and shall be as per discretion of the management.

Confidentiality/Prohibition to divulge confidential information: All information that you come across in
the course of discharging your duties with the Company which you would not have had access to but for your
employment with us is strictly confidential. Any unauthorized disclosure of such information shall render your
services liable to be terminated without notice and the Company shall be entitled to proceed against you for
appropriate compensation / punitive action depending on the nature of such disclosure.

Increment / Promotions: Your increment promotions and demotions will be at the sole discretion of the
management depending upon your efficiency, intelligence, regular attendance, sense of discipline, loyalty and
good behavior

Resignation / Termination: In case you resign from the services of the company, you will be required to
serve 30 days’ notice period or salary in lieu thereof. The management as a matter of prerogative may insist
you to serve entire notice period for proper handover and to avoid any work loss. The management can
terminate your services, without assigning any reason whatsoever, by giving you 30 days’ notice or notice
pay in lieu thereof.

Others / Misc.:

Office timing / Working hours: You will be required to work as per office timing depending upon
business exigencies which is dynamic in nature. Your actual duty hours will be communicated to you
from time to time as per need of the duty you are deployed at.
Reference check / Verification of records: This appointment letter is being issued to you on the basis
of the information and particulars furnished by you in your application (including bio-data) or
otherwise, at the time of your interview and subsequent discussions. If it transpires that you have made
a false statement (or have not disclosed a material fact/ suppressed material facts) resulting in your
being offered this appointment, the Management, at its sole discretion, may take such action as it
deems fit including termination of your employment. Further, your appointment is subject to
satisfactory replies being received from the references / previous employers mentioned in your
Employment Application Form.
You shall not pledge the Company’s credit and /or make representation to anyone / Sign any
documents on behalf of company unless you are specifically and duly authorized in that behalf.
The Company will expect you to discharge the responsibilities entrusted to you with the highest
standards of initiative, efficiency and economy.
You acknowledge and confirm that the conditions stated above are required on account of the facts and
circumstances relevant to the business of the Company and hence reasonable.
Notwithstanding anything mentioned above, the foregoing constitutes the entire agreement as regards
the terms and conditions of your service with the Company and they shall be subject to such
modifications and amendments as may be introduced from time to time as per the Company’s Rules &
Regulations.
Employee has to handover all assets and document before relieving. In absence of the same
management can recover amount from the full and final settlement.
If the above-mentioned terms and conditions of employment are acceptable to you, please sign the duplicate of
the letter in token of your having understood and accepted. Please return the same as for our record and future
reference.
