Offer Letter
With reference to your application and subsequent interview with us, we are pleased to appoint
you as DevOps Engineer in Unitrans Infotech Services on the following terms and conditions: You
will join the employment on 17th February 2025.
1. SALARY / ALLOWANCES
2. PLACE OF WORK
2.1 Your initial place of work will be at Unitrans Infotech Services. However, your services
are transferable to any department / section / place in the country within the company or
to any of its associates, or sister concerns, or its subsidiary at any place in India or abroad,
whether existing or which may come up in future at any time at the sole discretion of the
Management. The terms and conditions applicable to such other place / establishment will
be applicable to you consequent upon your transfer. In case of refusal to accept the
transfer, your services could be terminated. The company also reserves the right to re -
designate you as per the exigencies.
2.2 A schedule of your broad duties and responsibilities will be given to you in due course.
However, the Company reserves the right to assign to you such other duties and
responsibilities as may be considered advisable in the Company interests.
3. PROBATION / CONFIRMATION
3.1 On joining the company you shall be on probation for six months. During this period, your
employment is liable to be terminated by either party without assigning any reason and /
or with fifteen days notice and / or with fifteen days compensation in lieu of the notice
and after satisfactorily handing over of the charge. Further unless otherwise
communicated to you in writing your services shall stand confirmed at the end of the
period of probation.
4. BENEFITS
4.1. Leave: You will be eligible to Leave and Holidays as per the leave rules of the Company in
force.
4.2. Provident Fund: You will be covered under Provident Fund Scheme if eligible as per statute.
4.3. Medical Benefits: You will be covered under Group Floater Mediclaim Policy as per
the medical policy of the Company in force.
5.1. Your increments and future prospects in the Company shall entirely depend on your
performance / deliverables expected efficiency, good conduct, company’s performance
and such other relevant factors as adjudged by the management. Your immediate
superior or department head will carry out your performance appraisals at regular
intervals. Generally, employee’s performance is reviewed once a year. The management
will take suitable initiatives to reward / support your performance growth, which you will
unconditionally accept. Please note that, promotions / increments are entirely at the
discretion of the management. It shall not be construed / taken as matter of right.
6.2. Your appointment and employment will be subject to your being and remaining medically
fit. It is necessary for you to get medically examined by any Medical Officer desired by the
company, as and when required. If at any stage the Company finds you to be unfit upon
being medically examined by a company nominated Registered Medical Practitioner, for
the job currently being done by you, then you are liable to be prematurely retired on
Company grounds.
6.3. You will be governed by the rules & regulations of this Company from time to time
including those matters not specifically covered in this letter. You will not act in any way
in contravention of the rules and regulations for which your services can be terminated
with immediate effect.
6.4. Your employment is substantially based on the information provided by you. If it is found
at any stage that the information provided by you is incorrect or that some information is
suppressed then your employment is liable for termination.
6.5. You shall, not undertake any direct / indirect business or work, honorary or remunerative
except with the written permission of the Management in each case. Contravention of this
shall lead to the termination of your service without notice or any compensation in lieu of
such notice.
6.6. If at any time in our opinion, which is final in this matter you are found non- performer or
guilty of fraud, dishonest, disobedience, disorderly behavior, negligence, indiscipline,
absence from duty without permission, cause destruction / damage to the company’s
properties, directly or indirectly indulgence of any kind of misappropriation or any other
conduct considered by us deterrent to our interest or of violation of one or more terms of
this letter, your services may be terminated without notice and on account of reason of
any of the acts or omission the company shall be entitled to recover the damages from
you.
6.7. After confirmation, this contract of employment can be terminated by any of the parties
by giving to the other party a notice of one month in writing of its intention to do so or by
tendering a sum equivalent to one month’s salary in lieu thereof, and further the company
may at its sole discretion, waive the whole or part of the notice period without any
compensation.
6.8. On ceasing to be in the employment of this Company for any reason you will You shall
hand over the charge or letter of authority and/or power of attorney issued to you,
promptly settle all accounts including the return of all Company properties, tools,
equipment, documents etc. without making or retaining any copies.
7.1. Your personal records must be kept up to date as they may be required for your pension,
taxation and company mail outs. It is your responsibility to keep Unitrans Infotech
Services. informed of any changes, such as name, address, and marital status etc.
7.2. You shall at all times maintain absolute integrity and devotion to duty and conduct
yourself in a manner conducive to the best interest, credit and prestige of the company.
You shall not, at any time, work against the interests of the. Any violation of these norms
of behavior shall constitute misconduct for which the company shall be entitled to take
disciplinary action against you, as per the Disciplinary Rules and applicable laws in this
regard.
7.3. You will be required to work in suitable shifts as may be expedient & your working hours
will be 48 hours per week.
7.4. You shall carry out your duties to the best of your skill and shall punctually attend to your
duties at the place or places where you are posted.
7.5. You will not accept any present, commission or any sort of gratification in cash or kind
from any person, party or firm or Company having dealing with the company and if you are
offered any, you should immediately report the same to the Management.
7.6. You may be selected and sponsored by the Company for familiarization / training
assignment with Company’s technical collaborators or any other Institutions /
Organizations in India or abroad. You shall diligently and beneficially take part in such
training and assignments. The cost of such training including the travel fare and related
expenses shall be borne by the Company subject to agreements to be drawn up and signed
by the Company and you.
7.7. You shall not organize, participate or instigate any kind of strike.
7.8. You must not either be charged or convicted in any kind of criminal offence and must not
be engaged in any kind of unlawful /illegal activities.
