A prime number is a number that has two factors that we call composite.

For example: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20.

Prime factorization

Example:

What is prime factor of 12?

12÷2=6

6 is not a prime number,so we need to go further

6÷2=3

3 is a prime number

12= 2×2×3
