Equifax PEC 2025

This consist of 4 rounds


• Online Assessment
• 2 Technical interview
• 1 HR interview

Note: All rounds are elimination round. And the Language should be Java

Round 1: Online Assessment


This round had two parts-

1 Aptitude(easy to moderate)
• Logical reasoning
• Verbal reasoning
• Numerical Ability
• Computer fundamentals
• Pseudo codes

2. Coding
• One was of easy level of basic looping
• Second was of Easy to medium level (Based on 2D array where you to rst
sort the array then perform operation).

NOTE: Questions to be solved in java language

After this round shortlisting is done and shortlisted students were invited for the
interviews

Round 2: Technical Interview 1
It was a basic interview to check how much technically sound we are and mostly
resume based . Questions asked in this round are:
• Introduction ( Try to Highlight your strength as further interview will be
mostly based on things you say in Introduction )
• Tell something not mentioned in resume
• Your primary programming language and why?
• How much do you rate yourself in Java. Basic Java questions
• About family
• Questions about resume technology mentioned in resume (Like in my resume
I have mentioned Springboot )
• Annotations of Springboot used difference between spring and springboot.
• Why use annotations in springboot
• Features and advantage of java over other programming.
• We have so many programming lang then why we develop java programming
language.
• Dif culty faced in projects
• Why you use this database in your project
• Also some Easy level DSA Problems like Fibonacci , Prime Number, Pattern
Problem etc.
• Internship Experience (If Any) and Problem Faced while doing internship
• About certi cation

Round 3: Technical Interview 2


This round was purely based on coding questions with multiple choice
Questions.Questions were asked on DSA concepts. Concepts include:
• Array
• Linked list ( like code of adding and deleting node in linked list was written and
I have to nd error in that code )

• Graph
• String
• Unicode based MCQ question
• About core java like interfaces and abstract classes.
• Arithmetic’s operations increment and decrement based(Unary operator)
questions

Round 4: HR Round
In this round general HR questions were asked.
• Introduction
• Do you have any offer if yes then in which company ?.
• some scenario based question : like if you are a team leader and one of your
team member does not performing well how can you handle this?
• If we give you to work on different tech stack then how would you handle this?
• Hobbies
• What certi cations have you done
• About family
• Are you ready to relocate
• Your expectation

This round is to test con dence and communication skills, so it's important to provide
relevant responses instead of being quiet

DO's and DON'Ts in interviews:

DO’s
• Write only what you genuinely know in your resume
• Be con dent and polite
• interact with the interviewer as much as you can (even if you know answer
then also try to get some more hint )
• never be idle or quiet in the interview
• If you don't know the answer, ask for the hints they will surely help you to go
through the problem but never be idle or quiet

DON'Ts
• add skills which you don’t have knowledge about in your resume
• be over con dent or arrogant
• Interrupt while they are speaking
