Knit Plus Limited (Extension) complex was surveyed for fire safety on 06-Oct-2024 by The RSC Inspection Team. The purpose of the survey was to identify significant
fire safety issues and to provide recommendations for remediation based on applicable standards specified by the RSC. The scope of this initial fire safety inspection
was limited to the review and identification of major fire safety issues. The inspection did not include identification of minor deficiencies, which will be further
addressed as part of follow-up inspections.
Limitations
The information in this fire safety inspection report was obtained during a visit to the facility and during interviews with local factory management. It has not been
possible to provide independent verification for all the information and data collected, and, therefore, The RSC cannot accept general responsibility for omissions or

hazards, risks or exposures not referred to in this report do not exist. Compliance with the findings and recommendations stated in this report does not relieve the
factory owner from obligation to comply with specific project requirements, industry standards, or the provisions of any local government regulations.
Factory Building name(s): A short description of the structures of this RSC ID are following,-
* Note: Building-3 is the horizontal and vertical extension of building-1 where Building-1 & 3 are independent RCC structures, but architecturally connected as a
single fire compartment. All the occupancy shares the buildings & production facilities with means of egress at each floor.
2. Fire alarm and detection system (FADS), water based sprinkler, standpipe and fire pump system (SUPS) are common for both RSC ID: 10342 & 25891.
3. RSC conducted pre-T&C for the FADS and SUPS of RSC ID: 10342 on December 4, 2023. During the pre-T&CVI entire FADS and SUPS (RSC ID: 10342 & 25891) were
covered as building-1 & 3 are architecturally connected and creates single fire compartment. Moreover, the fire pump room is located at the basement of building-
3(RSC ID: 25891).
4. Initial design of FADS & SUPS for RSC ID: 25891 does not require further separate review. T&CVI process of FADS & SUPS of RSC ID: 10342 & 25891 will be
conducted combinedly.
Table 1 summarizes the major fire safety issues identified during the inspection of main buildings. Recommendations have been provided to address each issue. An implementation schedule
shall be developed by the factory to remediate each of the similar types of findings throughout the premises. The specific timing of improvements, including any requested extensions due to
design / installation constraints, shall be submitted to the RSC for approval.
