A. LESSON PROPER

“Okay class, before we start our discussion. “The song is all about our body parts.”
What is the song all about?”

“Very good! Okay, class our lesson for today


is all about the parts of the body and its
functions.”

Head- the part of the body above the neck


where the eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and brain
are.

Eyes- one of the two organs in your face that


are used for seeing.

Ears- are organs that provide two main


functions, hearing and balance.

Nose- Your nose gives you a senses of smell.

Mouth- Breathing, Chewing, Digesting foods


and drinks, Testing, Talking and swallowing
in others words eating.

Hand- is to grip, grasp and form precise


movement e.g. writing and sewing.

Arm- is to reach out and grab anything, from


food to tools to hand hold.

Leg- produce movements such as standing,


walking, running, and jumping.

Knees- helps to lower and raise the body,


provides stability.

Toes- help to trust your body forward when


you walk, they actually help increase the
length of your stride allowing you to run
faster.

“Are you ready children?” (students will touch their toes)

“Simon says, touch your Toes.” (students will touch their ears)

“Simon says, touch your Ears.” (students will touch their head)

‘Simon say, touch your Head.” (students will touch their nose)

“Simon says, touch your Nose.” (students will touch their arm)

“Very good children! You follow what Simon

C. APPLICATION

I have something to show you. Here’s a chart


of the human body. I would like to identify
the body parts. On the other side of the
picture, the names of body parts are posted.
You will get them and put them in the right
place in the empty box, pointing to the parts
of the human body.

“Okay, are you done?”

“Who would like to volunteer to put the


names of a body part? I need 10 volunteers,
please raise your hand if you want to
volunteer.”

D. GENERALIZATION

“So, what you have learned for today to our


lesson?”

“Yes Summer?” “Teacher i learned that the parts of the


body it is important to us.”

“Okay, very good Summer!”

“How about the others?” “I realized teacher the part of the body
important because it is our energy to do
our doing especially the nose”

“That’s right! Very Good!”

“That’s right “Parts of the body” it is


important to us because it is our body that
we can use for anything like smell, touch,
and see what we our doing.”

“Let’s give ourselves a round of (students clap their hands of applause)

E. EVALUATION
Identify the parts of the body and write in
the blank.
