General Information
Africa is the second-largest and second-most populous continent, known as the "cradle of
humankind."
The equator divides Africa almost in half, and it includes islands like Madagascar and
Mauritius.
Africa is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the
Atlantic Ocean.
North Africa:
Culture: Mix of African, Arab, and Mediterranean influences. Many people speak Arabic and
