General Information

Africa is the second-largest and second-most populous continent, known as the "cradle of
humankind."

The equator divides Africa almost in half, and it includes islands like Madagascar and
Mauritius.

Africa is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the
Atlantic Ocean.

Regions and Key Features

North Africa:

Countries: Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan.

Touristic Features: Pyramids of Giza, Sahara Desert, Marrakech Medina.

Culture: Mix of African, Arab, and Mediterranean influences. Many people speak Arabic and
follow old traditions. Known for spices, markets, and beautiful architecture.

East Africa:

West Africa:

Leone, Liberia, Burkina Faso, Niger, Togo, Benin, Cape Verde, Mauritania, The Gambia.

Touristic Features: Cape Coast Castle, Mole National Park, Goree Island.

Southern Africa:
