INTRODUCTION:

An Inventory Management System (IMS) designed to monitor stock


levels, sales, and purchases in real-time.

Reduces human errors in stock handling and automates restocking and


reporting.

Helps organizations keep track of products, quantities, and suppliers


efficiently.

OBJECTIVES:

Automate inventory tracking and stock level updates.

Provide real-time visibility into available stock.

Streamline purchasing and sales workflows.

Generate reports on stock movement and reorder alerts.

Enable secure and role-based access to inventory data.

FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS:

Product management (Add/Edit/Delete items).

Supplier and customer records.

Stock in/out and transaction management.

Low stock alerts and reorder level notifications.

Detailed reporting of inventory movement.

ER DIAGRAM:

The Entity-Relationship Diagram typically includes the following


entities and relationships:

Entities:

Product Table – Stores product details (ID, Name, Quantity, Price,


Category).

Supplier Table – Stores supplier information.

Customer Table – Stores customer purchase records.

Transaction Table – Stores stock-in/out records.

ADVANTAGES:

DISADVANTAGES:

Maintenance Efforts: Regular updates are necessary for smooth
